Services
Old Ridge Veterinary Hospital was founded by Dr. William Tancredi who wanted to bring dedicated, mindful, and personalized pet care to his hometown of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. The hospital started out as a mobile unit and then transitioned to include a full-fledged stationary hospital where many more advanced procedures can be performed to improve the lives of pets and people in the community.
Routine wellness exams are the cornerstone of your pet's health and well-being. Dogs and cats often try to hide signs of illness, making it difficult to tell when your pet is feeling sick until the disease is much further progressed. With regular cat and dog exams, we're able to detect underlying illness before physical symptoms are present and treat it before it gets worse.
Vaccinations play an ongoing role in your pet's health care plan. Puppies and kittens will receive a series of vaccines during their first year of life to strengthen their immune system. Then, as adults, cats and dogs will receive routine boosters throughout their lives in order to maintain their immunity.
Your pet's teeth are essential to their health and well-being. Dogs and cats use their teeth every day when they're eating, playing, investigating, and grooming. When dental disease causes discomfort, it not only affects their mouth; it affects their quality of life. Yet, this disease is entirely preventable.
Spay and neuter surgery is one of the most common surgeries for dogs and cats, and rightly so. It boasts a number of health and behavioral benefits that help prolong your pet's life so you can enjoy more good years with them. Plus, spaying and neutering help to curb the problem of pet overpopulation in Chadds Ford, and the greater southeastern Pennsylvania area.
