We are in Sevilla Square between D'Angelos and Yoga Soup. Parking is available in the parking lot on the corner of State Street and Gutierrez St and is free for the first 75 minutes. The Megaformer workout by Lagree Fitness is a total-body program that melds together elements of Pilates, cardio training and weight-bearing activity to create a revolutionary, one-of-a-kind exercise program to strengthen, tighten, and tone the body. The Megaformer is an incredibly effective machine that attacks each and every muscle in a very concentrated and focused manner to sculpt strong, powerful and lean bodies in a safe and measured way.
The reason I wanted to become a Fit Buddha instructor was because of my love for both fitness and community. I enjoy keeping my body strong and fit and would love to help others achieve the same goodness for their bodies. It's a good feeling to make a difference in another person's life. Three things that a client can expect from my class are energy and fun, good tunes, and a workout that makes you feel good all over.

I’m so thankful for Fit Buddha. I have been able to improve my balance and can feel (and see!) the difference in my body since I started taking classes a few years ago. All of the instructors are amazing and I love the personalized care they give to everyone. If you have a chance, take Eva’s class on Wednesdays at 9:15am! She adds a few minutes of breathwork and sound bath to the class. It’s amazing how a few minutes can have such a positive impact on my mood. Worth it!

Definitely the worst Lagree Pilates studio I have been to... I don't want to name any instructors, but one instructor was super unclear in her directions. Literally every student was looking around the room, completely confused, unsure of what positions the instructor was trying to do. Then when she finished, students had to remind her of positions she missed (she did some on the first side, not the second).

Eva and Marcus are fantastic as are the rest of the instructors, you can feel the love and energy they’ve put into the facility, equally to the individual attention they pay to each of us. So grateful to have pushed myself through the door to try something new. Not only I do feel mentally calm but focused too, I’ve had the added benefit of feeling noticeably better with a sciatica issue I’ve had for years. Namaste guys. So appreciate you. 🌻🙏😎

Love this place!! I especially love the classes taught by Eva!! She is so patient and helpful! I am somewhat new to reformer classes and the more I go, the more hooked I am getting. As an avid strength training/ CrossFit, triathlon, trail running athlete, this is an excellent way to change it up and is in no way easy!! The burn!! Wow!!!

So let's be real, I absolutely hate working out. I find that Fit Budha is an extremely effective workout that leaves my whole body feeling sore after. The instructors are very passionate and the class goes by quick. The mega-reformer is amazing. If you're on the fence about trying the class, you should just go for it. They have great first-time deals.

Fit Buddha is my favorite workout in town! The instructors are welcoming, the studio has great energy and the reformer routines are guaranteed to leave you sore (read: stronger!) The classes are small and intimate - which allows the instructor to get to know you and ensure you're keeping good form with each move.
I've tried yoga, gyms, running and weight lifting, but I can say confidently that this workout has changed my body more than anything else. Even my husband, who was convinced that Pilates couldn't be "that hard," was blown away by how effective his first class

Finding the right studio is always difficult and often times takes months or even years before finding the right fit or even finding a place that gives you results. For me, after trying out almost all fitness studios from pilates, yoga, barre and even boxing within the SB area over a span of 4 years, I joined Fit Buddha almost a year ago and I must say Fit Buddha is hands down the best fitness studio in Santa Barbara.
The studio is by far the largest and most spacious pilates studio in town with top of the line mega-reformers, free child care (for certain classes), and its own awesome spin studio

Holy smokes!! Found this lil studio on Class Pass as I was passing through town and hopped into a MegaReformer class.
The studio is spacious, though the class sizes are small, and very zen (which you definitely need doing a workout that tough!) I arrived to class early, and having never used a Mega Reformer, the instructor promptly greeted me and showed me the ropes.
I've used Pilates reformer equipment before but was super impressed with the difficulty and versatility of the mega reformer. The workout was SO tough (and you can make it even harder!) and a mere 45 minutes long.

I was visiting from out of town and took a pilates class with Kyle. Class was good but I especially liked that there is this big stopwatch on his ipad so you can see how much more time you have for each exercise.
I had booked the class with some other girlfriends who didn't show up because their hotel was evacuated from the Goleta fire. Kyle was super nice about it. Found out from the girls after that their class was refunded back to them. Great customer service.
We visit SB alot so I'm excited this studio is here and will be back!

How can this workout possibly be called a "WorkOut"? Between the relaxing atmosphere, great instructors, great music and sweat I love this place beyond words. I sweat like no other exercise has been able to do.
Then you mixed 30 minutes of Pilates with 30 minutes of SPIN!!!! I love it.
I go in the wee hours of the morning, the instructors are awake, on their game and put me on mine as well.
Please keep up the amazing public service.

Fit Buddha is by far my favorite fitness studio in Santa Barbara! I've been taking cycling classes for 10 years now & They're cycling classes are GREAT in addition to their mega former magic as well! The mega former and cycling classes (check out their combo classes) have helped me change my health and fitness around to wear my body feels good during workouts, I feel lean, strong and powerful! Fit Buddha is an overall great commmunity that I am so happy to be part of!

I love Fit Buddah! I signed up for their intro package about a month before my vacation and got soo much out of the classes! The transformation of my body has been so apparent to people and it feels great!
I would say that i lost about 7 lbs with Fit Buddah workouts 2-3x a week and changing my diet. I have always been a healthy and active person but these workouts were totally different and affected all the tiny muscles in my body for the body change that I desired.
Highly recommend these guys! The owners and instructors are amazing!

I bought the Groupon for spinning classes several months ago and I loved them!!! Natalie is the best spinning instructor around, and I can't recommend her classes enough. The music is perfect and motivating! I wore a fit bit to track my heart rate it's it's a perfect steady climb. You can't go wrong with Natalie's workouts!!

I would give it another try if I was back in town, unfortunately, I don't have any trips planned to Santa Barbara yet!

What an amazing pilates studio !!! Brand new state of the art reformers , spacious studio , amazing ,knowledgeable, friendly instructors . Classes are good for the beginner as well as the very advanced with the instructors offering modifications and corrections to benefit every level. I'm so thrilled I stumbled onto this studio today . I love it so much I'll be going back tomorrow. Thanks Marcus for an amazing class!!!

Fit Buddha is an awesome place and I'm so glad I got the groupon for their spin classes. The location itself is very easy to find- basically just right around the REI. The parking is definitely limited, but it's find when you go to the 6AM classes (I know, it's brutal).
Natalie is an awesome spin instructor- she, like other instructors here, measure by percentage of your own efforts. I don't ever feel judged, or body shamed at this place, as we are all here to be fit and happy. The spin classes are 50 minutes long and they really kick my butt every week. I went 4 times this

I have been going to Fit Buddha Santa Barbara for 2 and 1/2 years. I started with terrible back pain and physical weakness. I could barely do the class. My muscles are now strong, and I have much more stamina. All the teachers are great, each offering different classes and a different areas of expertise. For beginners I recommend Marcia Reed's class as she focuses on the details and will get you doing the movements in the correct way from day 1.
I highly recommend this method for overall health and fitness.

Hurting in all the right places after Laura's core and glute-kicking Megaformer Fitbuddha class! She, like so many of the instructors at Fitbuddha SB, knows how to pack in a full body workout in just 40 minutes! They focus on controlled slow movement, targeting specific muscle areas. After going 2x/3x a week I saw immediate changes the third WEEK of classes-that's what sold me!
