The best dental experience I have had in Pittsburgh. Dr. Cushman and his entire staff are fantastic. They are courteous and accommodating professional. Most importantly, his quality of work has been unrivaled, and the wait time is very short. The office also is very clean. Scheduling is simple and can be done at your visit, and they offer an emergency visit when needed. Definitely happy to have them my dentist, and I highly recommend him.

While I wouldn't say having a root canal is necessarily fun, Dr Cushman makes the whole experience a lot easier on you. He is very good at translating your muffled words into intelligible sentences, and willing to talk you through the process.
He is an artist when it comes to teeth. During my cavity removal, he stripped back the tooth layer by layer to determine how far the decay went to determine whether the root needed treatment, and was extremely thorough at digging out and shaping the root channels. There was very little pain during the process, even the numbing agent wasn't that bad.

I had never been to Dr. Cushman before but was unable to see my dentist and I called his office very early in extreme pain. They weren't open yet but I was redirected to what seemed like his home, where a lovely woman took my information and I was contacted as soon as the office opened. They squeezed me in and were extremely kind and helpful as I am terrified of the dentist. I was very impressed with this kind of service and for someone who I have never even seen before. I plan on making Dr. Cushman my dentist for my future dental work, he's awesome.

Prompt, efficient, and competent--highly recommend. My college student needed to be seen quickly for a broken baby tooth, and Dr Cushman provided quick, excellence service. We needed x-rays e-mailed to a different provider and they were done on the spot. Every time we called the office for an inquiry or request, the person answering the phone was pleasant and helpful.

I work regular 9-5 hours during the week and the office was able to get me in in under 3 weeks from scheduling to appointment with my preferred time. My appointment started on time and the office staff, Nicole and Renee, were very friendly and we had good conversation throughout the visit. Dr. Cushman fixed a problem tooth that had been bothering me for a while and did a thorough check for cavities. Happy with the experience and will continue dental care at Smile Studio.
