Services
Your pet can benefit greatly from regular wellness examinations or checkups. Whether your pet is a youngster, a "senior citizen, " or any age in between, wellness examinations provide an excellent opportunity for us to conduct a thorough physical examination and develop a health profile for your pet.
Southside Animal Hospital has the ability to run blood work for liver, kidney and pancreatic function, as well as complete blood counts and electrolytes right here in our hospital! We can also determine if your dog or cat may have heartworm disease, or if your cat may have an infectious disease. This means our veterinarians are able to diagnose many issues in a short time, often while you wait.
Does your best friend have bad breath? Despite what many pet owners may believe, "dog breath" is not just a nuisance - it's a sign of an unhealthy mouth. Bad breath is caused by bacteria. Over time, bacteria lead to plaque and tartar buildup on your pet's teeth. The result is bad breath, reddened gums, and other common signs of dental disease.
In our continuing efforts to offer the highest quality veterinary medicine, we are pleased to provide a wide range of surgical services for our patients. From routine surgical procedures, such as spaying and neutering, to more complex surgeries, we look forward to the opportunity to care for your pet's surgical needs.
Laser therapy speeds healing, so veterinarians routinely treat injuries with the laser; they also treat patients immediately after surgery so that incisions heal more quickly. Studies indicate that laser-treated wounds heal in one third to one half times faster than the time required in normal healing.

Love this place!! The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. They took care of my babies like they would their own. As long as I have animals I will only be bringing them to Southside for all their needs.
