We provide individuals, couples and families the support they may need to help overcome the many challenges in life. View our services below. We believe marriage is a lifelong commitment, built on a nurturing, respectful partnership. Strengthening that partnership should be the couple's number one priority.

Sex addiction is an especially destructive and difficult problem. It ruins relationships, leads to job loss and even criminal records, while destroying self-esteem and physical health. We understand trauma betrayal wounds - the pain, anger, disbelief, hurt, insecurity, fear, anxiety, as well as the loss of relational safety and stabilization.

This is a private pay business that does not take insurance at all. So, you will be paying premium price for a service that is overpriced per hour. The usual and customary costs for treatment here is not taken into consideration. While some therapists will charge as much as $250 per hour, the average 45 to 60-minute session costs between $60 and $120. Many health insurance providers offer high-quality coverage where therapy costs $20 to $50 per session, or that equal to your current copay. The cost here is $150 for a 45 -60 minute session. No insurance at all. This place is for the wealthy. My

Love John and Lyn. I've seen 5 therapist besides them, and the saying is correct, you get what you pay for. They both exceed my expectations every time I speak with them.

We were looking for a local counselor to help with our marriage. Being located in Novi was a plus. John was very helpful working through some of our issues. Was it hard at first? Yes. Was it difficult? Yes. If you want the truth and are ready to work on yourself and your marriage, I would highly recommend John and his staff at Northpoint. They helped save our marriage.

I have been coming to this practice to see John, and more recently started seeing Lyn also, for a couple years now.
I can't say enough good things about them. It is hard for me to put into words how valuable they are, and how excellent they are at their work.
I find both John and Lyn to be very welcoming, very approachable, and easy to talk to. They are warm and friendly.
John is very perceptive and there have been many times that he helped me put together big puzzle pieces, in a moment's time, where alternatively it may have taken me years to put it together on my own! He is very knowledgeable

When our son needed someone to talk to, other than his parents, we looked up various counseling places around the area. We were skeptical of NorthPoint Professional Counseling at first, with the negative reviews in all. However, we also read and heard horror stories about other places from friends and colleagues. We decided that most individuals always write negative reviews and rarely does a company receive positive ones.
We called and arranged for an appointment and the receptionist Renee was kind and spoke with a personalized tone, that set mine and wife's mind at ease. The atmosphere is calm

I found the people here to be very incompetent. The counselors need better training. I'm a professional and I do not like incompetence. I would never, ever return to this establishment.

After hearing from my Pastor that he (personally) went to counseling, I decided to go too. I found NorthPoint to be extremely friendly and helpful.
