In 1997 the founders of Security Title began thinking of ways they could use their real estate expertise to better serve the local community.
Paragraph Seven deals with how to disclose the condition of the house, get it inspected, specify repairs, pay for repairs, and complete repairs. The objective of this course is to first break down and review the expressed conditions of each section of this paragraph; identify alternative and acceptable uses of paragraph 7D; and finally, review of particular problem areas in the coastal bend.

Robert Morris went above and beyond for me. I purchased a home in 2013 and used Security Title. I am now selling this home and found a snag along the way which Robert went above and beyond to correct. They did state it might take a week to get down to the cause of the issue but once they did, he called me right away. I am so thankful for the staff at Security Title. Highly recommend them!

I was so very disappointed in how this company handled the process of closing my loan. I was never give any proactive information about what needed to be completed and the steps of the process (I’m new to Texas and don’t know the laws as they relate to real estate).
Two specific things happened:
1. Title insurance was written on a survey that did not have the correct acreage of the property; when I brought this to their attention a new survey was required. Good thing I caught it before closing but I’m paying them.
2. The day before closing, literally 6 pm the day before I was notified

I used Security Title for my closing. I believed there to be an error in the payoff amount. After 3 months trying to rectify the situation I reached out to Robert Morris. Robert called me immediately upon receipt of my letter. He asked for time to research the problem and after less than 24 hours called me to explain exactly what the situation was. Turns out that I was the one who was responsible. With the knowledge that Security Title was not at fault, Mr. Morris went above and beyond and provided compensation for my 3 months of attempted resolution. That is what I call service. I trusted Security Title with the closing of my home purchase. Mistake. They left an over 65 tax exemption in place and I was billed for 5 years back taxes. When confronted with his mistake Robert Morris immediately went into lawyer mode and refused to help me at all. Please do not give your business to this man of low moral character.
