As a family owned and operated business, we understand the specific care that our families need during their time of bereavement. Our aim is to leave a mark in their hearts that cannot be erased. After several years in business C. They know that with God "all things are possible".
Services
Reinforced vault with tongue and groove design with tape seal and the thermoformed polymer liner provide strength and security, while a textured, painted exterior finish with decorative handles, personalized nameplate, and cover emblem add a touch of class. What truly makes the Grant Series shine is the addition of pure, handcrafted metals.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).
A United States flag is provided, at no cost, to drape the casket or accompany the urn of a deceased veteran who served honorably in the U. S. Armed Forces. It is furnished to honor the memory of a veteran's military service to his or her country. Generally, the flag is given to the next-of-kin, as a keepsake, after its use during the funeral service.
Funerals fill an important role for those mourning the loss of a loved one. By providing surviving family and friends with an atmosphere of care and support in which to share thoughts and feelings about death, funerals are the first step in the healing process. It is the traditional way to recognize the finality of death.

I would not be using them again. They are unprofessional. They don't return calls. We just buried my brother on 11/10/2021 after having the service on 11/05/2021. The person that was helping us told all kinds of lies. We had to drive to the chappel and burial. We never got the chance to utilize the family car nor have a viewing. We were charged for those services.

Poor presentation of my brothers body. He was unrecognizable. Need an upgrade of family cars. Air circulation in limousine was poor and was hard to breathe. Staff was somewhat arrogant. My brother was buried 2 years ago.

Very poor presentation of the body also gave the ashes to the wrong person and could not tell me anything on how it happened.

Eastside took care of the services for my family member in April. They were unprofessional. Did not take pride in the presentation of the body and were argumentative when confronted about the presentation. They did not even initially take to time to cover imperfections or comb hair. They were rude to the mother and lacked empathy. Would strongly not recommend. The pastor used profanity when speaking with our family in several instances.

: Great funeral home service!! They saved us from the shady Kirksey. (DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO KIRKSEY!) Eastside was extremely professional, very down to earth, and they made sure to explain EVERYTHING to us. We were not left in the dark about anything, no hidden fees or hidden agendas. Latonya was awesome, and everyone they had on staff was extremely helpful to us. We even shared some laughs with them as they treated us as family. They are definitely not in it for money, and they completely understand that losing a loved one is not simply a business. We sincerely enjoyed working with them
