Services
Since 2001, I have been honored to be of service to people who were struggling. My clients are brave people who decide they that they want to stop the pain and make positive changes in their lives. I take great satisfaction in helping them reach their goals. Together, we identify and address negative patterns and issues so that they can move forward into a brighter future.
No relationship is perfect, and most relationships go through difficult patches from time to time. However, if you are experiencing persistent feelings of hopelessness, anger or sadness about your relationship, it's time to consider speaking to a marriage counselor. I am Jessica Zingelman, a Maple Grove marriage and couples counselor who can help you improve your relationship with your spouse or significant other.
In family therapy, the client is typically a child with an emotional or behavioral concern. The responsibility for dealing with the issue is not the child's alone. Rather, the process of positive change is shared within the entire family.

As a child and family therapist, I work with families whose child or children are experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, attachment disorder, stress, school failure, addiction, concerns over life changes such as divorce, adoption, placement in foster care, grief, loss and other issues.I typically work with the parent(s) and the child together to understand and address their concerns.
All children have a right to be loved and feel like they belong to a family forever. Belonging to a family becomes a part of our identity, which can positively and/or negatively affect one's self related to who they are. It is every parent's hope that by providing love, consistency, guidance, discipline, etc., will help raise our children to be healthy, productive adults.
Adolescents are coping with enormous pressures. Their lives can be complicated and stressful as they sort out their place in the world. The physical, emotional and developmental changes they experience are coupled with the expectations of family, friends and teachers. Sometimes it can just be too much.
