Services
We at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels sincerely appreciate the trust that is given us everyday to serve the families in our community during their most difficult time. We thank you for taking the time to read what families have said about us and invite you to leave a comment anytime regarding the services we've offered.
When it comes to planning a funeral for the first time, or anytime really, it can seem a bit overwhelming. There are many things to keep in mind when planning the service, from the obituary all the way to what kind of flowers you want. At Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels, we're here for you every step of the way.
A green burial is a cremation alternative, and a viable alternative to "traditional" burial practices in the United States. It is an earth friendly option when considering burial vs cremation. Many families choose cremation because it's seen as more environmentally friendly than traditional burial.
In recent decades, cremation has grown in popularity. In fact, according to the NFDA, the rate of cremation has already surpassed burial and will continue to do so. Due to this growing popularity, our funeral home is proud to offer affordable cremation in San Antonio, TX. Cremation is when the deceased's body is placed in a cremation container and then incinerated, leaving ashes behind.
Since every family is different and has unique needs, our funeral home knows it's important to offer families in the San Antonio area an array of various cremation options. Direct cremation is when the deceased's body is cremated right away. There is no visitation or viewing for this service option.

My mother and sister passed away to covid. I was under quarentine after I left the hospital. I couldn't do anything Mr. Puente, Bea, and the whole staff made the process easy and no stress. Bea made it possible to have both funerals on the same date. Also she made it very easy to choose the prayer cards and flowers. Which another funeral home made it impossible with no options with my other sister thahad passes away from covid earlier. I highly recommend Puente & Sons.

We were caught completely off-guard with the passing of our beloved mother. In attempting to educate myself and make sound decisions, Bea from Puente & Sons answered numerous questions, calls and even provided helpful numbers without hesitation. Actually, her closing statement on the call was “even if you do not choose our services, please do not hesitate to call me for any assistance”. The dedication and commitment to the families during the time of need is beyond what one could even imagine to receive. No gimmicks, no sales pitch, no falsehoods, etc...just genuine family owned and operated

The staff is extremely helpful and respectful with taking care of you and your loved ones. My family purchased a pre-need package and this eased the loss and making decisions. Thank You for being so kind and caring with me and my family.

I was very impressed by the high level of compassionate service that I received from every person I worked with here at Puente and Sons with the death of my husband.. They were very accommodating, reverent, respectful, patient, willing to do whatever they needed to, and just all around kind, polite people. Funerals and the death of your loved one is very emotional. They are VERY reasonable priced. I will DEFINITELY choose Puente and Sons on S Flores, San Antonio in the future. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

They are the best in San Antonio. I would always recommend them. They are in the right business and it shows. Sadly we have had to use them 3 times and each time I never had to worry about any arrangements we made with Plenty & Sons.

When I walked into your office I was distraught and my heart hurt. You were patient and concerned. My husband looked as if he were only sleeping. It was very comforting to me to know you would handle everything and treat him like family. The follow up call after all the details were set and completed was a special touch since I live in Virginia and my husband was in Texas. I would recommend you 200%. Many Thanks!
