I had some questions about the types of stocks my company issued me after we went public. After researching online about RSU, capital gains, and reading the contracts I signed for the stocks, I still could not determine whether these stocks would count as income or if I just needed to deal with that when I actually sold them. The Flex Tax team was able to review my contracts and clear things up. They also provided me projections on what I could expect to pay in taxes if I sold x shares. Throughout the process, they were responsive and thorough.

Alex and Will were efficient and communicated well throughout the process. I had out of state refund as well as adjustment of cost basis in my 1099. Initially there were some hiccups, but them setting up time to talk it over for free to explain and understand my situation really helped. Great and professional service!

As a busy freelance creative with no math skills to speak of, Flex Tax was a godsend for filing my annual taxes - extremely thorough, responsive, and wonderful to work with. I have been using Flex Tax to file my taxes over the last couple years! The service has been consistently good and very professional. Alex is very communicative and answered all the questions. Also since they operate almost fully online (over email and e-sign) I was able to file my 2019 taxes without having to take much time out of my schedule to go visit them in-person. The price is quite reasonable and well worth it for the service they offer! I'd highly recommend doing your taxes through Flex Tax and ask for Alex.

I can recommend Flex Tax for your tax preparation needs. The associates are knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient with my time. I have been to Flex Tax for a quick consultation regarding to the RSU and ISO and a second time to file my tax returns for multi-states capital gain calculation. Had a great experience at A&K Tax and Consulting Services this year. I had Alex and Sam to prepare our taxes and they were fantastic. I had just walked in the door and was immediately greeted with a smile and brought to her office.
After going through our information, they provided an estimate, did a thorough job in asking about all possible tax documents that we could have received and followed up with any additional pieces via email.
