I visited on a really slow Tuesday night. Feels like a typical casual Japanese restaurant. It's an old house converted to a restaurant. The service was very good. Menu was shiny and had a few pages and some pictures. Japanese beer assortment and a few local Canadian offerings. Tried a few rolls and some sashimi tuna. Food was very tasty. The selection of fancy rolls was large as was the portion size for the premium rolls. The significantly smaller standard rolls were about half the price of premiums and half the size as well. Smoked salmon roll was very tasty. The "crazy" roll was

Love their happy hour special. Mon-Sat 4-6 half off menu items marked with an astrix. This makes good sushi so much more affordable! They have lots of creative fun rolls as well as all the staples. Was disappointed with their inari, it was filled with seaweed, I'm used to it being wrapped around rice. I love their sashimi, good quality. The honeymoon roll was delicious, loved the coconut flavor. My friend preferred the pink lady roll, it has a very soft texture, was a bit too mushy for me. Service was attentive. Small intimate seating, not much privacy, we felt like the whole restaurant could

Great Japanese food. Freshest yellowtail l've ever had. Best vegetable fried rice in the area. I also enjoyed the Buffalo sushi roll. It is smokes salmon, cream cheese, and avocado inside with lobster salad on top. Our waitress, Brie, was awesome and worked all of the tables herself. Ambiance was a little off to me, but only because it's not what I expected. It is a converted house in Ochard Park. It is very small and casual. The prices are also fantastic: noodles, rice, wine, sake, 4 rolls, 4 starters $100. ( Yes, we had leftovers!) Other places would charge twice that. Great deal for

Went to the restaurant during happy hour and had to wait for 30 minutes or more just to place our order. That was alright.
About 20 or so minutes after we place our order, another party walks in and we're kindly asked to move so that the restaurant could make space for them. There's eight of them. No problems there.
Now I'm here with a party of three, and we've been sitting at the restaurant for nearly an hour. About 20 minutes after the second party walks in, they place their order.
Its been an hour and 20 minutes since we sat down at this establishment. No food in sight.

So, usually I rave about this place. We have been customers for years (eating in and taking out) but our experience the last time was a deal breaker.
Over the years, the inside of this restaurant has become dirtier and dirtier. When we went the last time, my feet were sticking to the floor. It looked like it hadn't been mopped or vacuumed in weeks. Dirt and food everywhere. There was food on the curtains and hand prints / dirt on the walls (especially near the hostess stand and entering the kitchen). It was overly warm throughout the restaurant and flies throughout. The soy sauce container

Amazing food. I'm not even a big seafood eater but they have grilled chicken sushi as well as veggie options. The sweet potato and avocado roll is incredible. The hibachi chicken and vegetables were delicious and everyone loved the soba noodles and fried rice. The service is fantastic as well, everyone was very concerned with how we liked the food and if we needed anything else. This is a must visit restaurant in Orchard Park for sure. I know I will be back for many more visits.

Usually a fan of this place but my experience here was subpar. First it's really hard to find where the restaurant is because they have a black and white sign and it's located in a tall yellow house. The restaurant appears to be located only on the very small first floor where it feels very cramped. The other locations of Fuji grill tend to be more spacious. Eventually we were seated and the waitress took our order shortly after. When a waiter/waitress comes to take the order of my colleagues and I without a notepad it gives me anxiety. As expected, she came back three times afterwards

We eat at the Orchard Park location at least once a month. Every time is delicious. The second we walk in everyone remembers us. Our normal server knows exactly what we drink and we don’t even have to ask. Just had a sushi dish that was Spicy salmon avocado inside. Lightly fried topped with spicy scallops fried tobiko scallion that was to die for! Yes it’s simple and not fancy but it’s a true gem to Orchard Park!!!

So pretty new to the whole sushi lifestyle and this place made me a true believer. Their sushi and rolls were so freaking good! Especially the Rockin Roll (it's salmon, cream cheese and other delicious things), only downfall is they were short staffed when I went so the poor waitress was running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Everything else was perfect though just get more wait staff. Dying to go back

Speaking of things I wish the Fuji Grill by my gym had, I love the rock 'n rolls here. Other locations have an identically named item but it's just crab and different kinds of fish in a tempura fried roll. Here it's my beloved salmon/avocado/cream cheese combo in a tempura fried roll with spicy (Sriracha) mayo and eel sauce. So yummy.
The restaurant itself is in a converted home so it's small and very different from other Fuji Grills. Plus they only do sushi, no hibachi experience. Not a deal breaker for me, but something to keep in mind if it's hibachi you're after

Fuji III in Orchard Park used to be great, but has been sub-par since the head chef, Tomo, left. The restaurant itself feels tired and dusty and is not the cleanest. The waiters/waitresses have gotten our orders wrong a couple of times: they either forgot to give us part of our order or accidentally charged us for something we didn't order. I can understand doing this a few times, but it has happened 3 times now.
As for the food, the sushi is ok, nothing spectacular. It used to be great and beautifully put together, but in the past 2 years, the quality of the food has gone downhill. The fish

I love Japanese Food, being a lover of Sushi and Seafood of amazing Quality is what I love about the Cuisine. The first time I came here was nearly 5 Years Ago, my dad took me here for my Graduation Dinner.
Dad got a Bowl of Seafood Miso Soup while I got 3 Pieces of Sushi (Octopus, Eel and Scallop), For our Entrees Dad got the Teriyaki Chicken while I got the Hawaiian Style Red Snapper (3 Filets of Snapper stacked Criss-Cross with bits of Pineapple, Asparagus Heads, topped with Crispy Nori and with an Orange-Miso Sauce) Fish was cooked perfectly (although I don't like Pineapple it added

Nice place. VERY authentic! The food is truly Japanese and not "Americanized" even one bit. It's a tad pricey, but worth going to once in a while. The special rolls are excellent, but the salmon sashimi is by far the mindblower. The servers are friendly, the decor is very authentic, and we will definitely be back.
