Founded in 1978 by Butch Mullet in the garage behind his home providing residential soffit, fascia, and aluminum gutter installation services, Mullet's Aluminum has grown into one of the largest manufacturers of architectural aluminum metals in the Southeastern US and one of the region's largest metal roofing panel fabricators.
In 1980, the company moved into its first commercial warehouse building located at 905 Ponder Avenue in Sarasota, FL. It later forged a relationship with a new local manufacturing company, Progressive Glass Technologies (now known as PGT Innovations) to provide window installation services for residential homes.

Mullets came to our home on Manasota Key and measured our upstairs deck for a white aluminum railing. It took a few weeks for the fabrication which was not a problem. Their technician brought the railings out a started the installation. Each main support needed 4 holes drilled through our new ceramic tile into the wooden substructure. They did a wonderful job. We hope to have them replace our metal roof this year.

What an amazing, amazing company from sales, to instal, to service! We looked at over eight companies. There were many reasons we chose Mullet's. Price was a huge driver, they offered us the best price. Service, however is the driver for this review. The workman were amazing. Our home was spotless each day. We had every window and door replaced. The quality of the product is already making a difference in noise and in the air conditioning levels. Without any reservation, we recommend Mullets. Thank you Keith, Martin, and Anthony! Bravo!

Geoff and JR were professional, prompt and thorough!!!
One more very important attribute....beyond the business critique above, they were personable!!! We waited more than we would have liked for our hurricane doors, and I guess there are several contributing factors for that, however, once we were contacted for installment, Geoff and JR made up for the wait.

Mullet's had long ago installed the hurricane windows for the previous owner of my new house. I found one that had developed a leak when the rain water was hitting it with force. They schedule an appt quickly and let me know the travel fee. They came out on time and fixed the problems with some adjustments. It is still leak free and was a good value repair. Thanks.

New to Florida and wanted to enclose our Lanai. Got some good reviews for Mullet's. Gave them a call and dealt with Zach...Great sales rep and knowledgeable. We hired them to do the job. WOW! are we impressed. Mike the scheduling guy kept us informed and had the crew come out as planned. They did an awesome job. I can not believe how great a job they did. There are many enclosures around our community and everyone is amazed at how well ours turned out and what a great job. Thanks to Mullet's....Can't recommend highly enough.

They custom made a 6x6 large downspout. The gutter oak leaves were always clogged up and I was tired of getting on the roof to clean it out. They enlarged the gutter opening so now the leaves get washed straight down and out. Giving it a 4 because 1st measurement was wrong. They came out with a shorter downspout and had to redo in the shop so required another day of installation.

I ordered two sliding glass doors, one three panel, the other a two. Brent and Bryan (installers) arrived at my home yesterday and are here today finishing the job! The doors have made such an improvement to my rooms! The fellows have done a fantastic install.......neat, clean and so very courteous! Needless to say I highly recommend "Mullet"s Aluminum Products" to anyone needing doors, windows, pool cages and more!

My family contracted this company back in June 2015 to do a 14' x 36' partially covered lanai. It seems that there have been many issues since the concrete pad just got completed in mid-November. They have never provided an update on the project, this means my family has had to call for an update every time. Most of the time we call they always say they will call back, and never do or they stayed that no one is in the office.
