Services
The Scala Funeral Home was founded in 1911 by Carmine Scala and has served the Utica Area with three generations of the Scala Family. In 1984, the company expanded and became known as The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. with David R. Roefaro as President. We are a family owned and operated business, with daily operations run by David Roefaro and his family.
Anthony is currently the Office Manager at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home. Born and raised in Utica, NY, Anthony is the son of Mark and Anita (Geary) LaPolla. As a Utica City School graduate with the Class of 2008, he continued his education at Utica College of Syracuse University, obtaining his Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Studies-Human Behavior in 2012.

We carry all types of caskets, burial vaults, cremation urns, and clothing to suit your financial and religious needs.
