Caring Hands is an AAHA-accredited animal hospital where the highest standards of leading-edge veterinary medicine are observed. We recognize that for many of you, our clients, the animals in your home are not pets but family members. That's why at Caring Hands we are committed to earning your trust while lovingly caring for your babies.
Services
At Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital, we know all our clients demand high quality care as well as great service. To meet this expectation, we've assembled an expert team of veterinary professionals-doctors, veterinary technicians (many "certified" or CVTs), tech assistants, front desk personnel, kennel staff, and a full-time business manager.
A native Kansan (her family operates a dairy SW of Kansas City), Dr. Herron has practiced veterinary medicine in Billings and the surrounding area since 2006. She is a graduate of Kansas State University where she completed requirements for a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, then remained at K-State for her medical education, completing her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) four years later.
Pick-ups must be made prior to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays, before 12:00 noon on Saturdays, and can be arranged for between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m. on Sundays for weekend boarders. We often get questions regarding "group exercise" for pets. For safety reasons we cannot offer that type of environment here. At Caring Hands, our emphasis is on a clean, safe environment where your fur babies are cared for as if they were our own.
Did you ever wish you could get a prescription refilled without leaving home? Now you can! Did you ever wish you could order large bags of a prescribed Hill's or Royal Canin product, pay for it online, and have it delivered free (in most cases) to your door! Through our partnership with VetSource, the leading online pet pharmacy and animal health supplier, now you can.
From routine appointments to emergency situations or surgeries, the CareCredit card gives pet owners the peace of mind needed to care for pets big and small. Unlike traditional pet financing or veterinary payment plans, the CareCredit credit card gives you the flexibility to use your card again and again for your pet's procedures.

They have been my fur babies doctors for over 8 years and I am so thankful for them. My dachshund recently passed away and Dr. Herron(I hope I spelt it right) and Anya(also hoping I spelt it right) made me feel very comfortable with the fact that I was going to lose my boy. Anya is amazing. I've never met someone so emotionally involved with my fur baby as I was and to know it was his favorite German vet tech meant the world. We love you Caring Hands. Thank you for everything. Capone always loved you

Excellent Doctors, they've never made a bad call. I've gone here for 20 yrs, tried other clinics for various reasons over the years, but always come back here because they provide the best care to my animals. Very caring staff. They don't upsell. They do their best to provide the best care for your pet within your budget.

Staff is fabulous and Dr. Herron is the best. We trust these guys completely with our whole menagerie of fur/feathered/scaled children.
Plan to wait on hold for a minute when you call, because the client ahead of you is getting the same total and complete focus and patience you'll get when it's your turn.
They have compassionate and honest care, and patiently help with nail trims or weight fluctuations, offer great boarding services and are up front about treatment options and costs.
Artemis (my lab mix) ate a foam ball at 5 mths old and Dr. Herron acted quickly and expertly based on symptoms

Brought both my pups in, needed full shots for one and rabies only for the other. Had a friend dropping the dogs off and made it clear that she was not able to make any decisions on my pets and to call me. Instead, they just gave both my dogs full shots. Resulted in an additional $60 in charges. Manager refused to do anything about it and when I asked for a copy of the initial phone call they "lost" it.
My first and last visit to caring hands, take your pets to Moore Lane instead, they actually care.

Unfortunately we do not recommend this facility for boarding! The lack of communication & care for our girl pup has changed our minds about ever boarding them again. This place does not have cameras or documents of when the boarding dogs are cared for when requested to see after my dog was returned to me being carried out in an employee arm's. I… dropped pups off perfectly healthy, walking on their own and to be picking them up with absolutely no explanation of why she couldn't even walk on her own was beyond upsetting for any dog parent. We ended up taking her to the ER at another clinic

Super disappointed in how they handled my dogs appointment today. I was charged and told my dog was receiving a shot that I did not give permission for. How can they legally do that? Communication was horrible. I was on hold for almost 20 minutes at one point. Responsibility was not taken for their poor actions and I still don't know what is wrong with my dog. I was given excuses, they were so busy and they didn't get lunch today. Very unprofessional. I am never going back.

I'll start by saying I do not like vets. I've had many bad experiences with many different vet clinics. But, Caring Hands is the one and only exception. I've never had anything but the top 100% Service. I could go on for a good while of why these people are better than any of the rest but it comes down to they care. Its that simple. When you need somone to care for your family members the most, Everyone at Caring Hands does. I will NEVER take my animal anywhere but Caring Hands!
