We have provided expert witness testimony in Addison, Chittenden, Washington and Palm Beach County Superior Courts as well as Federal Bankruptcy Court. The appraisal firm was started in 1981 by William Benton.
A 1978 graduate of the University of Vermont with a BA in Economics, Bill obtained a real estate sales license and worked with Paul Heald at Foulsham Farms Real Estate selling unique country property in Chittenden and Addison Counties. Complementing his real estate position in sales, Bill participated in the first Vermont Housing Finance Agency/Home Mortgage Guarantee Board appraisal licensing course and exam.

Services
A real estate appraisal is a professional, unbiased estimate of the fair market value of a specific piece of real estate. The appraisal must define the assignment and the scope of work necessary to complete the assignment. The appraiser must consider the three approaches to value: cost, sales comparison and income in order to accurately determine value.
