Chris Burke, the owner of Burke Automotive, developed an interest in vehicles at a young age. I worked with my father as far back as I can remember which has shaped my passion for this industry. It can be very rewarding, whether it is finding an elusive problem with a vehicle or seeing a happy customer because their car repair needs were successfully met.
Burke Automotive is a multi-service auto repair shop, independently owned and operated. Our business had evolved to include all makes and models to meet out customers requests. We provide services for the smaller jobs such as brakes and suspension, but we also take on the bigger jobs such as cylinder head gasket replacement, or in some cases full engine rebuilds.

This is the only place I want to take my BMW to ever again in the Grand Rapids area.
I just finished a 3,000 mile road trip and got a low coolant light on the way. They were able to diagnose the issue quickly and it was very reasonably priced for the work done. Scott the advisor was courteous and professional, gave updates when needed. The best part was he was able to work with my extended warranty company to make sure eligible costs were covered. They also allowed me to bring my own battery in for installation which not all places I've been allow that.

Brought my vehicle here for a wheel bearing repair came back to a vehicle the wouldn't start. Never had this issue before I dropped it off here. These people could not fix it, refused to pay for the towing to the dealership not any of the bill it would cost to repair, and waived $10 off my bill .. thanks for nothing, now I'm out a vehicle for up to 4 weeks because of you. Do not come to this shop. I'll never go back again.

The whole staff is top notch. Hands down the best auto mechanics in the state. Honest and the only repair shop i will have touch my vehicle. They Diagnose my vehicle for not starting within a 1/4 of an hour the problem was found ECU "the brain"and I had hours into it. Ive been to places where hours were wasted trying to find the problem replacing parts not needed and that is a waste of money. Burke auto hands down the best around.
