Hands On Sports Massage
The elements of training, racing and competition, put the body under a tremendous amount of stress. Stress that is necessary for the body to get stronger, faster and more efficient, but it's still stress nonetheless. As a Sports Therapist, my job is to help your body recover faster by finding areas of tightness and fatigue.

Working with the muscles of the body; recovery time decrease, fatigue decreases and working together we can find areas of concern, often times before it may present as an injury for you. As your therapist, my job is to work with you and your training/competition schedule to help you be the best athlete that you can be.
Services
Had my first remote session with Cindy McGuire yesterday. Obviously, I'd love to be in the office instead, but this was definitely a helpful alternative as I've been dealing with some low back pain mostly from the changes associated with working from home. I had my first virtual appointment with Cindy McGuire.

I went to Hands On Sports Massage simply because I wanted to get ready for my first half Marathon. Cindy noted by left leg was much more tight and so forth than my right. I mentioned I have been getting shin splints since I started running 2 years ago. I go new shoes tailored to my running style, but still I got shin splints. I then told her two years ago before I started to run I broke my big toe on that left leg. She figured it out. I had favored that foot as the bone healed. My leg became accustomed to this and it took on that favoring as a normal stance, walk and running stride. Through several

The more I progress in my journey as a natural bodybuilder, it seems the more common aches and pains come with it. I was referred to Cindy by my training coach a few years ago due to your typical shoulder pains. Having never had any kind of massage whatsoever, I was nervous about having someone poke around – and in all honesty, skeptical it would help.
It’s been over two years now; I have been regularly going back to Cindy for treatment of various aches and pains. She has become an important aspect of my training. By receiving regular treatment, I am able to train at a higher level, recover
