Beth El Mausoleum Of Boca Raton
Gated, private and semi-private spaces are available in many locations at the Beth El Mausoleum. There are many decisions and arrangements that must be made when planning the funeral of a loved one. We would like to welcome you and your loved ones to a tranquil place, rooted in Jewish tradition and surrounded by the warmth of community.

Our clergy and staff are here to help guide you and answer any questions you may have along the way. Serving the needs of our Temple Beth El congregation and the greater Jewish community of South Florida, the Mausoleum is privately owned by Temple Beth El, providing the highest standards of perpetual care.
Services
Mike Sirowitz, a native New Yorker, had the opportunity to retire early and relocate to Boca Raton in 2017. He immediately joined Temple Beth El, and became a valued member of the temple community. So much so that he agreed to "unretire" and become the Beth El Mausoleum Director when the opportunity arose.
Rabbi Dan Levin serves as the senior rabbi of Temple Beth El, the congregation where he began his career in 1996. As the congregation's leader, Rabbi Levin works to create a community where each member is inspired to lead a life of spiritual richness, meaning, purpose, and service.

He seeks to build a congregation whose mission is to synthesize the innate questions and moral challenges of the world in which we live with the wisdom and power of centuries of Jewish tradition. It is this synthesis of tradition and the modern world that guides his teaching, worship, and pastoral care.
Funerals can be very expensive. Can you tell me about the fees and payment plans, including the Beth El Mausoleum policy of "no hidden costs"? Yes, unfortunately, funerals can be very expensive. One thing thing that sets the Beth El Mausoleum apart from just about every other mausoleum and cemetery in the area, or anywhere for that matter, is that we have no hidden costs.
Beth El Mausoleum, the only mausoleum in the United States built on synagogue grounds, provides a final resting place among those who share the values, traditions and beliefs of Jewish heritage. Temple Beth El is a reform synagogue seeking to inspire a passionate commitment to Jewish life, learning, community and spiritual growth.
The funeral service consists of two parts: words spoken in honor of the deceased, and the entombment service. It is a customary Jewish Traditions that at a Jewish funeral to read passages from the Bible and other meaningful readings, which seek to honor the person who has died. These passages are also meant to offer consolation to those who survive.

I recently purchased a mausoleum at Temple Beth El in Boca Raton.
Driving myself and my son nuts by researching others, I found beauty and a sense of serenity here.
Their mausoleum director Mike Sirowitz deserves an award for patience. He was wonderful and always available to answer any questions, and we had plenty.
Along with my purchase I received a years membership to Temple Beth El. It took my breathe away when seeing it.
Hearing and seeing the children playing outside gave me a joyous feeling that life does go on.
If you are looking for your faith based final resting place look no further

Having made Florida our permanent home, we felt the need to also change our funeral and final resting place. Our search ended once we came to Temple BethEl and met Mike Sirowitz, the Mausoleum Director.

Upon meeting Mike, our anxieties were calmed, our questions answered and our decision clear. Mike's persona is one of professionalism, sensitivity, knowledge AND patience. We never once felt pressure and

were comforted every step of the way. This was a decision that neither one of us has looked back upon.

We are fortunate and thankful for having met Mike Sirowitz.

Not the type of thing you like to look for but we wanted our final resting to feel right. We felt we were in good hands - we love the temple and Mike was very informative and wanted us to be comfortable with out decision. There was no pressure and we feel so much better than to be "shipped" to NY where no one will ever see us. Beautiful and serene

After my father passed away, my family and I were looking for a final resting spot for him. My wife and I met with the director Mike Sirowitz and he explained the process and did it with compassion and pressure free. We ended up purchasing a Niche that was perfect for my father. The grounds are beautiful and I highly recommend the Beth El Mausoleum.

My sister and I have been looking for a future resting place for our elderly mother in recent weeks. After viewing other Jewish cemeteries and crypts in South Florida we were referred to Beth El Mausoleum. After meeting with Mike the Director and touring the grounds we knew that we found the right place. The facility was beautiful, serene and all those we spoke with were warm and inviting. Sharing the grounds with the temple made it even more special. We know we’ve made the right decision.

The director Mike is very rude and insensitive. After the wrong zoom information was given out for my grandmothers funeral, he refused to give me the correct one because "he was there with her family". After telling him I am her granddaughter he still didnt even attempt to give me the correct information. I asked if someone else from the facility could contact me with the correct information and he flat out said no. If you are considering to have your loved ones service here, DONT! Mistakes happen and he could have reconciled the situation easily but didn't. Horrible man.

My husband and I recently purchased crypts at Temple Beth El’s Mausoleum. The procedure was effortless. We toured the Mausoleum with the Director and saw which crypts were available. We were given all the necessary information, including prices, and went home to make a decision at our leisure, no pressure. The Mausoleum looks well taken care of and feels like a very serene resting place. After we decided which location we wanted, we met with the Director a second time and completed the necessary paperwork. We were very satisfied with the ease and dignity we experienced.

I had to make funeral arrangements for one of my closest friends. Beth El made a hard task easy and comfortable.
The rabbi did a fabulous job. The place is beautiful and I had people from all over the country and Germany viewing via zoom. They all complimented how beautiful everything was.
I wish I never had to do this but I did. I can't imagine doing it anywhere else.

In 2016 my daughter took me to see the Beth El Mausoleum so we could speak to someone about pre-need for Mom. The most beautiful grounds and beautiful art indoors with spiritual ambiance everywhere. The director Mike is awesome. He will walk with you and show you what is available and give you peace of mind that all will be done the way you want it. In 2018 we bought the space next to my mom so my daughter will not have to worry. The best thing is to pre-plan and buy and see where you will be resting in peace at a beautiful Mausoleum on Temple grounds, the Rabbis and staff are one of a kind.

There was no pressure just a very ⁰congenial and informative atmosphere. We would certainly recommend the Tempe Beth El Mausoleum. Hopefully we will not have to use the service for a long time.

The physical space is dignified, beautiful, immaculate, and accessible. And the staff, in particular the director, Michael, and of course Rabbi Greg Weissman - everyone went above and beyond my expectations in order to make a extremely difficult and emotional time transition into something peaceful and natural.

In making our end of life choice, we found the mausoleum at
Temple Beth El to present a beautiful and dignified location.
Keeping our family in mind, we felt the facility offered both a
feeling of comfort and welcoming. This process was highly
emotional but the difficulty greatly lessened with the concern
and respect offered by the staff. Through contact with the
temple professionals, as well as many congregation members,
a family atmosphere was created and completes our positive
experience with great confidence in our decision.
With thanks, Dennis and Lois Charney
