Your family is important to you. Whether your family involves your significant other, your kids, or your pets; the people that matter most to your deserve a safe space to come home to after a long day at work or school, and residential roofing plays a significant role. Without a roof over your heads, you and your family are exposed to rain, sleet, snow, and the hot summer sun.
Hail can damage your shingles, siding, or gutters without any visible signs from the ground. Hail normally has to be at least the size of a golf ball before it will break through your shingle and cause bruising. If driven by high winds or if it hails for more than a few minutes, your roof will suffer from loss of protective granules.
As the owner of a commercial property, it's important to protect the value of your investment. This means ensuring the property is in the best shape possible, not only for yourself but also for the satisfaction of those who may be renting space from you. Whether your own a warehouse, office building, or multifamily apartment complex; having a properly installed roof can make all the difference.
Is this an insurance claim? Missouri and Illinois both have strict laws that do not allow a roofing contractor to offer to waive a deductible. Be weary of any roofing contractor offering to waive your deductible. It sounds good on paper but most of the time you and the company are committing fraud and violating state laws.

I have complete faith in the integrity and honesty of this company. Several years, I wanted someone to check my roof, so I asked my insurance agent who I could trust and the agent recommended Beal. The representative told me my roof was fine, and did not try to sell me anything. Recently, there was some damage to my roof from a storm, and they appeared promptly and gave me a fair an honest estimate for a repair. Again, they did not try to sell me a new roof, although both the agent (Brent Anderson) and the repairman (Ryan) said we would probably have to replace it in a few years. The repairs

William came to my home to do an inspection for a leak in my roof, and said it looked like a very simple fix, which led me to believe this would be on the affordable side. He later sent us an estimate for $900 for the work to be done, which shocked me a bit. All they had to do was call our home warranty company and run the estimate by them, and they could have our money, but it's been 8 business days and he hasn't done it. I've called every single day and heard a receptionist ask "how they can make me smile today" which feels very ironic as this hole in my roof sits and

Not even deserving of the one star.

I have had three separate repairs done by them and every time it's a half assed job and not been fixed. The three different roofers all sighted a different issue and said the guy before them didn't know any better. That to me, means everyone is an absolute hack. The fourth and final time I called them the guy told me we had to redo the whole roof. I said fine because I was ready to be done with them.

I then paid the guy more than necessary for the deposit and never heard front he guy again. He put me straight to voicemail and never called back even

Well,I did my research and determined John Beal was ok to deal with. The salesman,Rich was very informative, explained everything that I asked. One day they delivered the material and the roof was to be put on in a few days as agreed.Roofing day came, the workers started at day break, worked hard, few breaks. The down side, nobody spoke English. The upside, they did a good job.Maybe because as the homeowner,I was watching the whole procedure. I would use them again and supervise again.I must say, they were good at picking up after the job.

My review is a bit delayed since my roof was installed last Oct (2019), but at least over the last few months I can see how the new roof and gutters have held up. Especially with the recent hail storms we received. The roof looks great and is holding up the weather really well. I chose John Beal for a number of reasons:

1) They had the most reasonable bid for the higher end architectural roof and new gutters. In fact, one of the companies I received a bid from, who was double the cost, asked who I received bids from. I was going to hold back, but decided to let them know who and why I was

All three installs had delays or multiple delays. Two of the three installs demonstrates poor workmanship and customer service. I have been inconvenienced for all of the following ways; a lot of phone calls with scheduler, moving material in and out of garage, time away from work to meet with area warranty manager, retrieving our loose dogs, cleaning up after installs, and now to submit this complaint to the BBB. This home improvement project has take 9 months and not all due to weather delays. Separately, each of the 3 installs actually took less a day to complete. Amazingly, 3 days of work

We live in Florida and needed a new roof for a home in O'Fallon that my two handicapped children live in. This company not only gave me a fair estimate for the job, they kept in constant touch with me throughout the job until it was completed. Very impressed with the way they did business. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

December, I had the 1st roof replaced only to find out Owens Corning had defective shingles. May 13th they put on the 2nd roof that looks like it was put on by 5th graders in training. Brand new shingles, looks horrible. Mark Beaupre is the so called inspector with 40 years experience. I've done 2 roofs to know that all the shingles are suppose to flat. Worst representative for customer satisfaction I've ever dealt with, and I deal with multiple contractors at US Steel. I only wish I had investigated there reviews way before. I'm suing for my money back so I can have it replaced

I gave this company 1 star only because they responded quickly to our needs. We had leaking around our chimney into our attic. They spent 10 min on our roof and supposedly repaired or resealed it. The cost was $375, and now we have leaking in the same area. I called those office and was told in order for us to have a warranty on the work it would have been $975. Ridiculous. Try a different company, probably would be the same cost but maybe the work would be better and possibly they would stand behind their work.

This company is dishonest and will charge your credit cards without permission.

I had my roof replaced. There was an additional 195 worth of plywood to finish the project. No big deal. I got a call and an e-mail on a Saturday morning demanding I pay by Monday morning. This was my first bill for this. I opened the email and the 195 jumped to 225. I emailed asking for an explanation and told him I would need 30 days to pay. The company then goes and charges my credit card without my permission (they had it the numbers from my original payment). They now refuse to answer my emails or phone

My neighbor and I used John Beal to replace our roof, gutters, and shutters after some hail damage. They could not have been less professional. Quotes were scribbled, prices changed each time met, and we had to contact them repeatedly to keep the project moving.

Each stage of the work was done incorrectly. Nails were left all over the lawn and walkways. Debris was left on the back porch. The wrong size shutters were ordered and installed. The wrong size flashing was ordered and installed. The gutter on the front of the house was crooked. Nails were sticking out of the gutters. Each of these things
