BEWARE of OLD reviews being good, check most recent. The owners of this facility also own others in town. I do not trust them. Prices are outrageous and they can get away with it since they own others under different names.
The lady’s are pretty nice but the actual Doctor dude isn’t as friendly. I’ve gone here more than once and regret it every time. They always recommend and claim the only way to help is the most expensive option available. They also charge double for every medication and shot they say you need. It’s always 3 medications and 3-4 shots. Spend anywhere from $450-$900 every

My second choice for my fuzzy little one…right behind Bear Creek. They are owned by the same company but this location isn’t exactly in a spot of town that I would want to hang out. Still, great service and awesome staff. If you can’t get in where you usually go this is a perfect place that will take care and be good to your pet. They are good people.

Had a really sick kitty, called my regular vet, not taking walk-in's, same story with 8 other vets in this town. This one had me in the office within an hour. They examined my cat and said he wasn't going to make it, so they were so kind and gentle to help him to the rainbow bridge. They were very caring to me. Cost was about same as anywhere except my old (now) vet which was more costly. I have a new vet now.

It's very obvious the staff/vet isn't pet orientated. My experience, and even Duke's (my chi-winnie), was poor at best. This place only cares about money. Then they proved it by not honoring their on-line half price office visit for new patients. But of course I wasn't told that until the checking out process and going over the charges. I paid full price for office visit.

I had my boxer puppies dewclaws removed at Two days old and the vet apparently didn’t remove the dewclaws correctly and he twisted them off causing the dewclaw to grow back I adopted the puppies out to there new parents and the dewclaw grew back, so I informed American vet hospital of this and they said oh well this happens, no this does not happen it was removed incorrectly which caused his dewclaw to grow back. They don’t want to own up to making that mistake and fixing the mistake which will eventually cause the puppy to hurt or to have it ripped off so he will need to have it taken off

I called and they got our dog right in within a couple of hours. The doctor seemed to care even though we weren't allowed to go in with Lucy. We drive truck and were happy they could accommodate us on our way to our next pick up. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of the total cost. We live in Michigan and possibly it's just a normal vet cost in California. Our vet would've charged half of what we paid, however, our baby was hurt and they did get her right in! Overall, we are happy with this veterinarian. Be careful where you park as the property manager is quite a "Karen"!

I can't say enough good things about American Veterinary Hospital. We will make them our go to veterinarians. We found them during the Virus Pandemic. We needed Someone to give our Persian kitty a bath and a trim. Man do they do a good job of that. They have been more reliable than our old Vet(s) over the past year. We are so happy to have found them.
