Guess who is feeling stupid (not to mention deprived!) that she was never at the Biltmore until last night????
A friend suggested meeting here for an early Sunday dinner, I arrived around 5:15 and sat at the bar to wait with a nice can of Angry Orchard. Bartender was awesome - apologies that I don't know his name, but friend paid and I didn't see the receipt - and we decided to stay at the bar for dinner. Based on the Yelp reviews I had read prior to arriving, I ordered the Biltmore Burger which was EVERYTHING the reviews said it was: delicious, cooked perfectly and with a sauce that

Found The Biltmore online and thought it would be a great try for a casual dinner, so the road trip from NR to Newton would be worth it. We started with a "mule", that we were told was made with their house made ginger beer. Exceptional!! Server Brenna was excellent as well.
Unfortunately, the food that we ordered did not deliver the way the mules did. We ordered appetizers for dinner. The "smoky" chicken wings were anything but. The seasoning tasted like cinnamon and sugar coating fried chicken wings. The Calamari was good, but the grilled Caesar Salad was uninspired, a

Their menu and food is extremely innovative from other bar/pub places you will visit. When you find something you like they make it delicious. This would definitely be a four star if not for some terrible waiters and waitress'. I would say one out of five visits you get good service, otherwise, it can be bad...I remember one time through a whole meal which was apps and entrees I was only given on glass of water until after the check was paid and I was ready to walk out the door. If they get that fixed definitely a hidden gem!

In an old victorian style building, this small little restaurant sits in what used to be three individual little shops along Chestnut Street in Newton Upper Falls. While it may be hidden, it's quite convenient off Route 9 and also very close to the Needham Street shopping / retail / office corridor.
While there isn't any designated parking, pending on when you are planning to come in, you might be able to park in the giant empty office parking lot adjacent if they aren't open.
Menu is pretty limited and there aren't many options for food. Just the basics honestly. Mac and

If I could leave a negative number I would. This was the absolute worst experience at a restaurant I've ever had. Asked for a table and the ride at waitress I've ever met told me there was nothing available. Then she walked away.
It was only 6:30 pm so I asked if there would be something later, she rudely told me NO.
This restaurant was recommended by coworkers and they missed the mark here.
Would not recommend this place if you're in the area.

Been here many times but have noticed lots of changes, mostly negative concerning the menu,
One of the go to's at the Biltmore was the chicken and waffles, they then changed it to chicken tenders and waffles and now it is only on the brunch menu.
The Fried green Tomatoes were awesome and not to be found on menu, they also had some corned beef sliders that were awesome and now are gone from the menu.
Not worth taking the trip anymore. The service was good tonight, I did have a burger but I can get a burger anywhere.
wife's concern was they give you two fish tacos versus three with no

My husband and I have come here a lot and it has gone downhill in the past year. The service is slow and I thought I'd give Biltmore another chance last weekend.
I wanted the bucket of mimosa with my friend and for $18 said you get 2 Prosecco and 1 rose can and the juices. The bucket came to the table with tiny tiny juices and only 1 Prosecco can and 1 rose. I then told the waitress I wasn't paying for a can of Prosecco we didn't get. She looked at me like it wasn't normal to ask for the thing we didn't get or drink to be taken off our bill.
So beware of being cheated

Don't order the salads here... I received one of the saddest Waldorf salads of my life as takeout. Greens wilting and unappetizing altogether with the blandest chicken for $15+. Now that's out of the way I'd say the rest of their menu (you know the greasy, fatty food) are all a better option.
I love the loaded waffle pub fries, their burgers/sandwiches, and baja fish tacos. Pass on the Muchos Nachos, it just didn't seem to be very evenly distributed. Very lopsided toppings. Although they are on more expensive side for pub food, it always seems to be busy! In fact one night

I liked this one... cozy restaurant/bar in Newton, very appropriate for Sunday brunch. Extensive drinks list (very creative cocktails), relatively quiet and good service. Food is very well prepared and presented; around the table were eggs Benedict, omelettes, fried chicken/waffles, hamburgers and pancakes. No one left complaining or hungry (actually, we took food with us). Endless coffee for those of us who are in need... good experience overall.
Too many TVs in the place, but this would make it a popular venue to watch a big game...
