One year later and still 5 stars! Matinence requests are quick and done incredibly well and the response time from the lease management is great. I leased places in the past where you were just $$$$ at Washington gardens they really do seem to care about their residents and are constantly improving the building such as constant pool matinence, new carpet in the hallways and lobby, very clean building and flowers and even an updated parking lot. We are just starting our second year here. Highly suggest!

We have been living in this community since 2017. It’s a very convenient location. Walmart, Aldi, Indian grocery store , everything is nearby. We lived in 1 bedroom apartment in building 2 for first three years which had a lovely view and really enjoyed living there. End of last year we wanted to move to 2 bedroom apartment so we moved to building… 1. In this apartment we had some maintenance request which was resolved on time. Since we are moving out of state end of May , they are also very accommodating in our move out process. Our stay has been smooth in Washington Gardens. Overall

I have been staying in WG apartments for a couple of years now and I absolutely love it here. The property manager Matt is very kind, friendly and the best in the business. He goes above and beyond to ensure the residents are happy. All the service requests are completed in a day. I would strongly recommend this apartment.

I have been in the WG for 1 year and its a nice place to stay. Management is responsive to the Tenant even before and now. Good community to live and I have to move out due to personal reason . Less crowd than other so you will have your spot to enjoy the facilities around. Gym, Swimming pool or play area. I would recommend this place than other popular community in Pittsburgh.

Have been living here for a year and a half now. Renting a one-bedroom unit.
- What I like:
+ Unit is huge (like, VERY spacious), clean, and well maintained. Maintenance is carried out quite often. Cat friendly.
+ Close to both I-376 and I-79, and Carnegie’s Main Street.
+ Nice, friendly, and helpful staffs. They really do care about tenants. Fast and frequent communication from staffs as well.
+ Online website to pay rent and submit work order.
+ Walls are thick enough for privacy (or at least my neighbors are nice enough ).
+ Nice additions here and there: free coffee, shopping carts

Run from this place, outrageous move-out Charges
I have stayed here for around 6 years, I moved between a few apartments in the community, for the most part experience was good. They are short staffed from a maintenance perspective. They have one great guy Mark who does most of the maintenance work for the community. If he's tied up you have to follow-up multiple times to get someone to respond. The building is old and so is the look and feel of the appointment. It's good from a proximity perspective, other than that there's nothing great about this property.
Having said all of that, the worst

I had really bad experience on that apartment. I will not recommend anyone have the same experience, what I went through. Leas manager is keep changing every three months and don't know what they are doing. Right now Matthew Oberkofler is leas manger, He is knew and even doesn't say Hello, He will not address issues properly You need to be careful when you decide to move this place, They will tell you 100 dollars deposit but when you leave the apartment , they will ask you more than 1200 dollars for old carpet replacement and very small damage in the house. They expect you to give backup the house

I just moved in this past September, and absolutely love it. The apartment itself is very spacious. In the time since I have moved in they have updated the kitchen appliances and a new hardwood style floor in the kitchen. They also just updated the Laundry machines. The manager is very easy and their are plenty of spaces. My neighbors are very friendly, as is the staff. The manager Kim, is a rock-star!!! She is super friendly, very responsive, and experienced. Dave in maintenance is also awesome to work with. If I had to be picky, I do wish that the water was included in the cost of rent. I love

I've been living here for almost a year. Very responsive staff and maintenance team! They are all so helpful with anything I need. My dishwasher quit on me and I got a new one the very next day! I don't need a new range and oven, but am being fitted with a new one to match the dishwasher and fridge too! The building is clean and well kept, and include laundry, a fitness room, and a pool in the summer time. The storage area in the basement is great too! The buildings also provide shopping carts so you don't have to lug all your groceries up the stairs. The one bedroom apartment is spacious, and

We stayed in Washington Gardens for over 2 years. Very responsive and attentive leasing staffs and maintenance people. People living there are very friendly. The apartment by itself is very quiet. The sq.ft of 1 and 2 bedrooms is pretty big compared to other apartments I looked at. There is also a storage space for each apartments in 1st floor. The community is pretty decent for families and elder people to take a stroll in evenings.Highly recommend it, if you are working downtown and looking for an affordable stay. 31 stop is right up front of the apartment and a walkable distance to G31 and G2

They have fine print in their leasing agreement. At the end of your 12 months, they will send you a letter asking if you would like to renew your lease. If you don’t respond within 10 days they can auto renew you into a more expensive lease agreement without your approval. You would then be locked into another year.
The manager gets commission on this. Beware. Stay away if you don’t want to get screwed by greedy management.

I have been living here about two months, and now that I have heard the inside scoop on other places I had considered; I am confident that I have made the right choice. I have to say that this is the best place to rent an apartment in the city if you are looking for a nice place that is accessible to everything and has very low crime. I did a ton of research before I moved here and I am very happy with my decision. Great apartment, peaceful atmosphere.

The apartments are spacious and reasonably priced. The maintenance resolves any repairs in 24 hours. The staff and neighbors are friendly. The location of the apartment is good. The swimming pool always has a lifeguard on duty. They have a small library with coffee machine(i love this part), play area and fitness center. All I can say is I am a happy resident :)
