If your loved one dies in a healthcare facility, they will notify the proper authorities, including the funeral home you have chosen to care for your loved one if they know that information.

The service for my niece was wonderful at Mary Davis . The only concern I have is that families need to be aware of is when your love one remains do not look nature especially when they use water based embalming fluid. Your love one should look nature and not bloated in the casket. Davis Royster rushes families during service not allowing family to grove appropriately at that time. Just notice this and you will see exactly what I am saying.

I'm not sure what's happened in the recent years, but everything from appointment times, communication, and professional courtesy is extremely disorganized. The front desk lady is clueless, helpless, rude, or just doesn't care. Perhaps all of the above. We have been up here twice trying to get information from these people on our loved ones passing. The first time, we are kept outside while the lady wants to poke her out not wanting to answer us. Apparently the information we received which was to drop off pictures for the obituary and get our loved ones size for garments was not communicated to

I just want to express my sincere thanks to Mary Davis-Royster and to everyone at Davis-Royster Funeral Service. I had a somewhat complicated situation. My mom passed away in one state up north but wanted to be buried in North Carolina. The prospect of trying to honor my mom’s wishes was overwhelming at first. But when I contacted Ms. Mary Davis-Royster, she literally took care of EVERYTHING including getting my mom picked up in my state and transporting her to North Carolina. We had to delay mom’s funeral because of Hurricane Florence and I was so worried Mom would not look beautiful the day

Mary - Davis Royster is my second family. They have took great care of my family since i can remember. My mom still speaks highly of there services and care for our loved ones, like one of there own. My grandmother Barbra Braxton, and cousin Desi Terry Small passed not to long ago and the service went just the way we wanted it to. The family was pleased. Thank you all for your ongoing services.
