Master Paul Chu began his Kung Fu training as a child in Hong Kong learning Wing Chun, Northern Shaolin, and Tai Chi. As a young man, he immigrated to Houston, Texas where he has run his school since 1980. After moving to the United States, Master Chu had the good fortune of meeting and later training with 4th generation Choy Lee Fut master Yim Cheung and celebrated Grandmaster Shui Kwong Yuen.
His depth of knowledge and experience in other Kung Fu styles helped him to quickly attain a very high level of expertise in Choy Lee Fut. As a result, Master Chu was recommended by Masters Yim and Chee Leung to learn advanced Choy Lee Fut techniques and theories under Grandmaster Chui Kwong Yuen in Hong Kong.

Iron Palm training is a means of strengthening and conditioning the hand so that it may be used open and relaxed to deliver devastating strikes. Only recently have instructors begun to offer to teach these skills publicly. In the past, true iron palm training was reserved for only the most dedicated, trustworthy students.

It's teachers like this that have destroyed traditional martial arts by lying to people and playing mind games! Paul chu is a bully to his students, and by not training them properly is giving them a false sense of security, he,s interested in only one thing, your money, that's it,don't waste your time!!!!!

My son has been going to Chu's Kung Fu for 2 months now and I must say that Sifu Chu produces results with very little yelling! I have known other instructors to be extremely strict with the students. Sifu Chu makes it fun for the kids (mine is 5). There are other kids there who have been training for about a year and their kicks and punches are AWESOME.
I've seen my son improve in just a short time and can't wait until he gets to a higher level. My only reservation is there is no separate waiting area, so the students can be distracted with the parents / siblings who are

As Confucius once said "By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest"
