SHIHAN Michael Luzbet Black Belt 5th Dan Ho began his love for Martial Arts at a very early age, in his native country Cuba. He was only 4 years old. He began his Martial Arts teaching when he obtained his Green Belt, at 16 he had more than 94 students in Cuba. In 1999 he arrived at the United States as a young adult and followed his love for Martial Arts.
Joshinmon Shorin Ryu was named based on Grand Master Hoshu Ikeda's philosophy that "You cannot teach karate as a means for harming another man". Grand Master Hoshu Ikeda was born in China to Japanese parents. When he was twelve years old, the family returned to Japan, where Mr. Ikeda began his study of Shorin Ryu Karate.

All children will receive a daily Martial Arts class. In addition, our after-school care program includes homework time, and fun time (movies, arts and crafts, and additional physical activities). We provide the time, the place, and the assistance to ensure your child completes their homework completely and correctly.
