Really great training overall. Coach Erik really helped to expose me to real kickboxing training for the first time. Also, Erik got me into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. My only warning would have to be with regards to the contract that you sign when you join the gym. Make sure that you understand that if you stop going and change billing info that they are still going to expect full payment from you. I trained for about a month, then changed debit cards and switched gyms. Then in April of this year I received a bill for 1,000$ and a threat of legal action. This gym not only took my daughter from being bullied to bully proof It also raised her grades I brought my wife hear postpartum and she's in the best shape she's ever been in I myself lost 50 pounds on top of how I feel this Gym has show me techniques that help me protect my family. The staff here are really cool and friendly. I enjoyed the training. I liked their training curriculum and their style of teaching... but let me tell you something. They don't disclose all the money involved in moving forward or being promoted to advanced classes. I was so happy to be promoted and finally get some real training (considering I had come from another gym where I was already taking advanced classes) but unfortunately I was gently slapped with a total of $300 to move forward --with!...with!-- an increase in my monthly payment from $160/month to $200/month! --with!...with!-- a mandatory

I started here about 6 months ago and it is amazing! the classes pull you in everytime you go, you just want to go more and more until you find yourself going everyday whether your going for a workout or a class. The Free Style Fighting Academy has been a true blessing to my child and our family. We have seen a huge transformation on my 6 year old boy in the short amount of time he has been part of this amazing academy. I'm normally not a morning person, but I have no problem waking up to train at FFA. I've been coming here for 7 months now to a 6:00am class and I see my progress both in skill and physical fitness. The instructors are very knowledgeable and have extensive experience teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Kick Boxing, and Traditional Boxing. The fitness classes are also great, where they show proper body mechanics in challenging circuit routines.

FFA is the place to go if your looking to get into MMA, they treat you like family here. The Instructors are awesome and super humble. I train with Coach Che at 6am and it's an excellent way to start your day. They have a ton of classes, which helps if you have a tight schedule. Honestly, best decision ever! Love the classes and look forward coming to them.

I loved training here. This is one of the best martial arts gyms I've trained in and certainly one of the best in Miami. The instructors are very personable and are top-notch in their knowledge and instruction. The learning environment was very professional and had a family feel to it. The owners of the gym are always trying to improve the company and are willing to work with you personally as a student. Also, it's open 24 hours!

I read about this gym online and before walking in read that their "advanced/Cap" class had a 2 year contract.I was not interested in anything with that long of a contract and i specifically asked them about it before signing up.The employee looked at me like i was talking Chinese and told me they didn't have anything like that.
Well 2 months in, i wanted to move into the "advanced/cap etc class" and the first thing they tell me is there's a 2 year contract, and that everyone in that class has that contract.

I've been at FFA for many years now. I absolutely love this gym and the people in it. I started with kickboxing classes just for fun and fitness. I discovered that I was pretty good at it, and decided to really focus on improving my technique. The instructors taught me so much, and my training partners have always been great. Thanks to the awesome training that I received, I went on to win the Women's National Golden Glove Championship in 2009. DO NOT JOIN!!!! I'm giving one star because I have to put something. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I paid for 5 months as a deal to later found no out I was sick. I don't need the membership or wanted because I'm also moving to another state. They won't issue me a refund even though I'm providing proof of what I'm saying. Please think before joining this place. Once you sign that contract you are stuck. No wait getting out of that. Beware of these thieves' shady business practices. They are real slick with their contract wording and sales pitch. I was made believe I was signing a one year contract to the gym, but then a month later they said the contract was only for the beginners classes and I would have to sign a new THREE year contract if I wanted to take the "advanced" classes.

Might be a great gym - but lousy customer service. Pretty slick operators. If you are in fact looking for Miami Shooters Club - its located within. They do not disclose their rebooking fees and do not disclose that they are a business located within another business. Adrian was less than helpful and unfortunately is quite ignorant about good customer service. Again, the gym may be great. But this was my honest experience and I hope never to make the drive all the way down there for all the grief I suffered.

Best gym in Florida, by far, I've been training at FFA since I was a teenager and never once thought about switching gyms. The instructors are always professional, have a great understanding of the martial arts they teach and they always help the students out with any questions they have on techniques or anything else. The customer service is great too, they always make sure every one that comes in is taken care of and has someone to help them with whatever they need. I attend the Women's Only BootCamp and love every single sweat drenched moment!
I have been going attending the bootcamp for 2 months now and what a difference. I have lost 10lbs but so many inches. They are so nice and the workouts are always different and fun. Time flies.
Let me get to the details:
Classes: The bootcamp is only for women which was a major selling point for me. Each class is 1 hour long starting at 2 classes per week until they bump you to the third one which is always a kickboxing class. I think they have an unlimited membership but I have not
