Dale and Gina Pittenger are ecstatic to have acquired Karns Family Dentistry, the original and longest operating dental office in the Karns community. After 21 years of clinical experience, Dale seized the opportunity to return home to practice dentistry in his beloved East Tennessee. This is an amazing establishment. Wonderful staff and quality work for a great price. I was tired of going to those chain dentists that overcharged and just tried to get you out the door. Dr. Pittenger and staff were welcoming and didn’t mind a conversation. Thank you for the dental experience that all should seek.

DON'T GO HERE. Especially if you need dentures. I would give zero stars if I could. Dr. Dale doesn't stand behind his work and is very unprofessional. He lacks sympathy while it is my life and confidence that he is messing with. He promised I would love the way I would look after getting my dentures, and now I feel so much worse. I went to get them better fitted, and after grinding them, he completely ruined them. I understand there is a process when having this procedure done, especially getting immediate dentures, but his lacking of compassion and low-quality work left me with barely wearable

Staff made me feel like I was "part of the family". Felt more than welcome on my 1st visit!!! Group offers more than just the usual dentistry. Dr. Dale was informative & gentle as well as Jen (hygienist). Will definitely add as my go to dentist.....thanks sooo much!! (Also loved Stacy & her bubbly personality!)

I have had Dr Dale and Mrs Gina as my dentist since I was about 10 years old, and I am 24 now. They do excellent work and are an extention of my family. They are the nicest group I've ever met and to think our family's greatest friendship developed over me going to their dental practice when I was 10.
