Dr. Christie Hagert welcomes you to Hagert Family Dentistry, a full-service dental practice conveniently located in the heart of Chestertown, Maryland across from the main entrance to Washington College. With the support of her friendly and professional staff, Dr. Hagert provides gentle, high-quality, patient-focused dental care for the entire family using the latest technology and materials.

Dr. Hagert is a second-generation dentist and a 2002 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Prior to acquiring Dr. Pelczar's dental practice in 2018, Dr. Hagert practiced dentistry for 16 years in Virginia. She and her staff look forward to treating all of Dr. Pelczar's patients and enthusiastically welcome new patients of all ages!

My experience with Dr.Hagert was awesome, superb etc. I don't have any fear of dentists. I just ask them to be careful as I am a trumpet player. Dr. Hagert and her staff provide the best service and environment I have experienced in 30 years. The conversation she holds with patients and her assistants enhances the dental experience. I was totally blown away when I received a "check-up" call from her the day after a procedure. What more can you ask for? I 'd give them 10 stars if I could.

I have been avoiding the dentist for years. I've also been paying for dental insurance through work for years. I finally decided I'd go. So happy I went to Dr. Hagert. Everyone was fantastic. I had to have an old filling removed and redone. I was so worried about the novacaine shot. Dr. Hagert was so good at distraction techniques that I hardly felt it. I would recommend Dr. Hagert and her wonderful hygienist team to anyone!

Dr. Hagert cares a great deal about patient comfort. I was honestly moved by how careful and attentive she was when I had cavities filled for the first time. Really grateful to have her in the neighborhood as my family's dentist.

Very kind and professional doctors in this office. Dr. Hagert and her team seem to float from room to room with decisive action. I have VERY poor dental health and not once have they made me feel any less because of it. Instead the team here lifts me up and helps me make informed decisions about my situation. I will say, as a person without dental insurance, the price here is slightly higher than your average local dentist's office but it is well worth the environment and quality of service.

Great atmosphere and energy in the office. Dr. Hagert is a sweetheart! I have dental anxiety, all of the staff were kind, professional and courteous. Later in the evening after a procedure Dr. Hagert called me! Much appreciated. I highly recommend this practice!

Super nice!! I have horrible anxiety with going to the dentist but dr hagert is amazing. Her staff is very friendly and also great with kids. The only down fall is getting appointments. It seems she’s booked up pretty quick .

This is such a great practice! Everyone there is so nice, engaged, and more than competent. Explained everything so clearly. Doctor Hagert is easily the best dentist I've ever been too. So lucky she opened her practice here!
