Dr. Steven A. Heier obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1981. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the New Orleans Dental Association, and a study club of dental peers which is a valuable source of sharing ideas.

After completion of a comprehensive examination, Dr. Heier will create a customized treatment plan to meet your needs. Restorative and preventive procedures are incorporated in your treatment plan that will aid in prevention of tooth decay and other diseases of the mouth.
Implants are an excellent choice for replacing missing teeth or helping denture wearers to chew, speak and wear their dentures more naturally. An implant is a titanium post used to replace the root of a missing tooth. A crown is then placed onto the implant to replace a single missing tooth. For multiple missing teeth, more than one implant may be used with multiple crowns.

Just moved to the parish so I was calling around trying to find a new dentist. I called to schedule an appt and was sent to Linda because I had some questions about my insurance coverage. She informed me that they do not take my insurance "but sometimes we do". Okay, that makes sense, as I also work in healthcare and I understand how in network and out of network plans can be. However, I asked for help due to the whole process being confusing and i was told i would have to do it myself. I asked if there is someone there who can help me verify my insurance and she said no. There's no reason why
