I began my career as a Registered Dietitian teaching nutrition and healthy cooking in schools, clinics, farmers' markets, and grocery stores. I opened my private practice in 2015 to help individuals and families improve their health through food and nutrition. I love what I do! In my spare time I enjoy testing recipes with my two young children and going on walks with my dachshund.

Although receiving any diagnosis while pregnant can be confusing or scary, the good news is that many women are able to control their blood sugar with nutrition and physical movement. If you are diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes (GDM), don't worry. We will go over everything you need to know, including a plan of what to eat, recipe ideas that fit your palate, how to check your blood sugar, and how/ when to fit in exercise.

I've been working with Leah since this summer on ways to keep my blood pressure in check and lose some weight that has crept up over the years. She gave me some really helpful advice that has been easy to follow. I'm 56 years old and down 30 pounds since we first met. I did this without doing anything drastic.
