The Pastoral Care and Counseling Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing counseling, psychotherapy, clinical training, consultation and education to the wider community. We have carried out this mission for over thirty-five years. The services we offer are sensitive to the diversity of individual, family, social and spiritual needs.
At the center of our mission is the treatment of the whole person. Our staff has advanced education, training and North Carolina State Board certification in the fields of pastoral psychotherapy, counseling, marriage and family counseling and clinical supervision. Services
PCCI provides care for all, regardless of faith beliefs (or the lack of) and for those from all walks of life and life perspectives. We seek to understand the uniqueness of each individual and the difficult life situation that has led the person to seek counseling. Our work with people is thoughtful, respectful and informed.
We are committed to helping people gain an open and honest look at their feelings, abilities, circumstances, and relationships. Where change can be made, we will support, challenge and nurture. Where change is not possible, we will help people accept themselves and grieve their losses so they can live again with an adventuresome and open heart.
Free Phone Consultation to help determine if our services are appropriate for the person and their situation. Evaluation and Consultation for individuals, couples and families who are experiencing a crisis. Designed to offer crisis intervention, support and to evaluate the need for additional resources and services (Usually limited to three sessions).
