His honest service and commitment to excellence have served local families well for nearly forty years. Larry's goal in establishing Wright Funerals-Cremations is to bring local, affordable and "back to the basics" funeral service to the community. Corporate non-local funeral homes in High Point and surrounding areas have lost their way, providing unnecessary products and services at astronomical prices.
This is not the meaning of service and in most cases, not in the best interest of a grieving family. Honoring your loved one with a dignified funeral or memorial service can be achieved at an affordable price at Wright. Along with his son, Bradley E. Wright, they will guide you through the many service options available.

Because of our greatly reduced and affordable prices, payment is required in full at the conclusion of the arrangement conference. The goods and services below are those that we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead.
The Reception & Gathering Place is located on the lower level of our funeral home at 1720 Westchester Dr. It's designed to give families a comfortable and inviting venue for receptions or a sit-down meal following a service. It's also available for the public to use as well. We also offer in-house catering from sandwiches to a full two meat, three vegetable, and dessert meal.
The Wright Life Reflection Center, located next door to our funeral home at 1726 Westchester Dr. With a comfortable seating capacity of forty guests, it's the perfect space for a small intimate service at an affordable price. The seating may be arranged to your specifications and liking. The Life Reflection Center is available for small services starting at $425 for two hours of use.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service at Wright Cremation & Funeral Service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.

So incredibly disappointed in this agency. One of the previous reviews suggest that you have become "numb" to the needed sensitivity that goes along with this type of work. Based on what I have been communicated to about afamily's s recent treatment, I was appalled. I could careless how long you have been in this business. It would appear that you have lost the ability to put the customer first and make them feel like their wishes are priority regardless of how much they spend on funeral costs. It would behoove you to listen and truly hear what folks are telling you instead of being defensive,

At a time in life where loved ones are grieving, and mourning the loss of someone close to them, you expect a funeral home to make things as easy, and unstressful as possible.
Wright Funeral is not that place.
We lost our Mother 2 days after
Christmas (12/27 Monday ), and on the

Larry C. Wright/Owner, at the Funeral Home.
Mr. Wright asked many questions to my Sister, Brother-in-Law, and I that day, as to what our Mother's final wishes were. After all questions were answered, we were told by Mr. Wright that NOTHING would be done until AFTER the 1st of the

Mr. Cody Williams and staff are absolutely amazing. We lost our infant grandson and they not only comforted us, they gave us hope and answered every phone call and questions we had. Cody was not only helping with the arrangements but said something that has stuck with me and our children and that was “ Anyone can have a baby, but God chooses his warriors to give birth to angels and y’all’s son/grandson is Gods angel he needed back.” That statement has helped this grieving Nana’s heart. We never got to say hello but we trust in our faith we’ll see him in heaven again one day. What a

We were preplanning a funeral for our mom and we checked around our area with different funeral homes. When we went to Wrights, we knew we were at the right place. Wrights is reasonably priced with no hidden fees, very straight forward. We met with Cody and he was so helpful when planning the service. A month later she passed. We went in and spoke with him again and he makes you feel as though you are the only person in the world, taking all of his time with you. He is very good at his job and a true asset to the Wright's Team. Go see Cody, he will truly help you though one of the most difficult

Terrible COVID protocols: Funeral directors not wearing masks despite the sign on the door saying they were required, no effort to encourage distancing or safer behaviors (e.g. asking people to keep masks on to sing). Many people who have been diligent about avoiding indoor spaces with crowds will take the risk to attend a funeral out of respect for the family. The least a funeral home could do would be to take reasonable measures to protect those people, but perhaps they're hoping to generate more business instead.

My sister and I were able to locate Wright Cremation & Funeral Service upon the death of our father via search and were impressed with the information available online along with the upfront disclosure of pricing as most sites do not publish their pricing up front.
We were very satisfied with the complete personal service that the Wright family provided, including assisting in authoring the obituary, notifying four separate publications, arranging for the death certificates, and coaching us through the process of losing a loved one.

Our 24 year old daughter passed suddenly from heart failure associated with her disease. Wright's went above and beyond with caring compassion toward our whole family. It was a very difficult time for us but dealing with Larry was very comforting. They took great care with our daughter and family! We would highly recommend their services!
