Our veterinarians and staff work together as a team to provide you the best care for your pet. They both studied veterinary medicine at Iowa State University and began practicing in Council Bluffs after graduation. They have been married since 1983 and have two children, Amber and Austin. She joined the practice and entered the 3rd generation of veterinarians in the family.

Services
At Valley View Veterinary Clinic, we provide a full range of services including routine checkups, vaccinations, medical and surgical procedures, dental care, and boarding services for your pet. As certified and experienced veterinarians, we are passionate about our work and look forward to welcoming you and providing the highest level of care to your pet.
The clinic is designed by BDA (Building Design for Animals) Architecture who has built over 900 animal care projects in 46 states and 13 countries over the last 30 years. The design of the new clinic will feature enhanced traffic flow, odor and noise control, low maintenance materials, cutting edge technologies, and healing by design.
Dr. Barbara Lee is a graduate from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lee has been practicing in the metro area since 1982 and founded Valley View Veterinary Practice in 2004. She grew up in Orono, MN where she loved to show horses and do PCRA barrel racing.
Dr. Lee has been involved in several organizations in the community and is currently a member of The Pottawattamie Board of Health and SOLAS (Support Our Local Animal Shelter).Dr. Lee loves to travel and spend time with her children and grandchildren. Dr. Jody Strohbehn graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1979.

Valley View is the only place I would ever take my animals. Growing up, they were always amazing with my childhood pets. Now that I am an adult and bring mine, I cannot compliment them enough. One of my cats recently passed away and they were extremely compassionate when I was unable to hold myself together. They were extremely helpful with my most recent vet visit, even having Dr. Lee call me and explain the results of my cats urine. They recently opened up a larger building, which is good because they are always busy. Every staff member is so friendly and knowledgeable. I would give them more

I returned home from a trip to Texas to find my elderly female bulldog in serious trouble. I called valley view and the receptionist Tim explained that they were booked up but to bring her in immediately and they would see her between visits. No more pulling on to the interstate to head home that I received a call that she had been seen and the course that needed to be taken. After 2 days I was able to pick her up with a good bill of health. The staff there were very compassionate and caring for my dog.
