Papaya at the Landing opened in March of 2009 after months of anticipation and years of love and care. The birth of Papaya happened in 1997 at the Crossroads Shopping Center in Bellevue and has taken flight to its new image at the Landing. And now in 2020, we are excited to open our 3rd location at the Sammamish Village.

So get this- they have plenty of outdoor seating yet refuse to wait your table outside- even though its actually closer to the kitchen than half of the restaurant. I guess if you don't want to sit right next to a table of four enclosed during the height of a pandemic than they will be super rude to you, tell you to order to go and won't even so much as bring you a water even two feet away outside. First they told me they could wait me outside then another day they told me they couldn’t because they were down a server - all within a span of two weeks. The management and staff treats paying customers

Fresh and tasty with good sized portions! 2 of us enjoyed the Shrimp Spring Rolls with peanut dipping sauce to start. The grilled chicken noodle bowl is flavourful and one of my favourites. Friends loved their chicken hot pot, and chicken rice meals. I took home the beef stew with oxtail and noodles for my husband and he was very happy!

So get this- they have plenty of outdoor seating yet refuse to wait your table outside- even during the height of Covid. I had to ask multiple times why this is the case and they make up some excuse. I won't take my business here until they can figure out why they even have an outdoor table set up but won't let customers use it during Covid for their own safety and their workers safety.

K, I don't usually leave comments, but 3.5 stars for this place is just crazy inaccurate unless by some freak incident something went terribly wrong at someone's visit.
With all the issues around in person dining lately we've been limited to trying to do a lot of takeout meals. Although initially after seeing their menu and prices I was hesitant, as the prices seemed slightly steep, we decided to order from them. Ever since then it has been our go to Vietnamese restaurant. We used to only go to restaurants in the ID, but I think this place is even better than any of the ones over

I live so far north in Seattle i'm almost in Shoreline. Had Papaya while visiting a friend tonight and am already planning to drive my butt down to them later this week so my spouse can partake of their incredible work.
Everything about this joint is thoughtfully curated. For two bucks you can sub in zoodles for regular noodles. Most places wouldn't bother to have a whole second set of ingredients to prep, manage, and serve. Having tried them, I'm glad Papaya goes the extra mile.
I don't know what they put in the spicy broth, but it's great; flavorful and with just enough

Staffs are miserable here. It's almost like they are doing us a huge favor by working there. 0 smile 0 friendliness and I thought it was just the lady who served us thinking maybe she's having a bad day but no. Even the male staff was so rude. I almost did not tip and I ALWAYS tip generously. I'm sorry but the food is not even great.

When I was living in Washington and just up the hill from the Landing, this was my to go place of choice. The pho is delicious and the egg noodle soup is out of this world. I now living in Arizona and whenever I am back in town, this is still my place to go. The food is so deliciously authentic and the service is awesome. Come here if you are looking for a good authentic Vietnamese place to eat!

Papaya is a cute little Vietnamese restaurant in the Landing. It has such a nice atmosphere - it is cozy without being crowded, great color scheme, and warm hues. I enjoy it!
It is more expensive than many other Vietnamese restaurants but I was terribly impressed with the quality of the food. I shared the shrimp noodle rolls as an appetizer and they were fantastic! The rolls were perfectly balanced with shrimp and veggies and noodles with killer peanut sauce. I ordered the garlic beef baguette and was super impressed with it. The bread fell apart a bit, which made the sandwich a bit messy, but

Very clean establishment with lots of helpful and friendly staff. They all provided us with exceptional customer service. We had spilled a glass of water by accident and boy! They were so quick to clean up the spilled water. We were very impressed y their quick action!! Kudos to their entire staff!! The food is so delicious with attractive presentation as you will see from the pictures. I highly recommend PAPAYA! We will return soon!! Plus

I love this spot and have now been here multiple times. The food is great and not like the average pho spot. Each thing I've tried so far I have been beyond impressed with. The first time I came I had the lemongrass chicken and it was great great! The next time I had the steak cubes with rice and has a fried egg on top and the steak can we say amazing. First it is tender like filet minion and is grilled to perfection but regardless of your steak preference you will enjoy it. I also ordered a small side of pho beef broth because that day I had a slight sore throat (no corona) and I didn&apos

This is my second time here on a Sunday. The food was adequate and served fairly quickly. The service was good and was given a fresh meal. The chicken was tender and filled our cravings! This a great spot for family or friends. I would recommend this place to anyone. I could definitely day their menu had great choices and havent had no issues with any of my desired plates!

Man I really liked this place. I usually order the banh xeo and tofu/avocado roll but I was craving something light for dinner so I ordered the grilled shrimp papaya salad. When I opened the box it looked amazing! Skewered shrimp all toasted and the salad was so colorful, I was salivating! But then as I started taking the shrimp head off and the shells I noticed THEY DIDNT CLEAN THE SHRIMP POO! How are you going to charge $16 for a salad and not take the extra steps to clean out the shrimp intestinal tract? It's just gross.
If I was eating inside the restaurant I would've sent it back

This place is such a disappointment.
First The pho was so oily. I probably had half an inch of oil in my bowl. I was constantly scooping the layer of oil out. Every bite I took my lips were covered in oil. My broth was cloudy ( if you're Vietnamese you know it's old). My pho was also very bland. Second my husband ordered the pork chop and eggs rice dish... is was $15 and all he got was the pork chop and egg ! No pickeled vegetables or anything else on the plate ! I'm very disappointed in this Vietnamese place. So expensive for such bad food. I am concerned for them. Next time I

This interior is roomy, clean and nicely decorated. The food choices are more than just any Pho restaurant. I like the wide variety of food choices. Though I don't know much about authentic Vietnames food, I count on my friends whosm had eaten there before and the server's recommendation. The server was attentive, the food served rather quickly, convenient parking and shopping in the Renton Landing location.
