After moving to Washington from Louisiana right before the pandemic, I wanted to find a bar (kid-free zone) I could just hang out in and eat delicious food. Georgetown Liquor is my “go to.” The food is consistently delicious and the people that work here are always so nice. My favorite items to get are the Reuben with a side of potato salad, but everything on the menu is delicious.

My kiddo was looking for a cocktail bar on our drive back home (Leavenworth). Didn't realize it was all vegan until we sat down. Bonus for him (he's veg), but I was pretty skeptical. Food was the best vegan I've ever had. Carne asada tacos were better than most tacos I've eaten. And the pulled pork was also tasty tasty. Cocktails were fun and delicious as well. Everything was pretty damn yum!

Been coming here since 08 always enjoyed the GLC, the new owners made the food gourmet (no more field roast), and kept the place pretty much the the way it was.
Had lunch here three times in the last month no vegan restaurant in the Georgetown area can compete really, most still serve field roast sandwiches with chips and salsa.
Support these guys.

Finally made it down to Georgetown to check this place out in person! Was sad to hear they were under new ownership but honestly you wouldn't know based on the still outstanding food!
Yes the menu is smaller, but the BLT is just hands down scrumptious so you don't need to eat anything else! I also loved that they took some usually not vegan friendly cocktails (White Russian anyone?) and made them vegan. I didn't get to try one but now I know I can!
The bathroom was so cool, I wish I'd brought my phone with me.

As a bar, I think this place really shines. It's got a very cool laid back and open vibe. I feel like anyone could wander in the door and nobody would look twice. It's right by the train tracks and the loud trains passing by from time to time seem like just another quirky charm. There's a good selection of beers on tap, some interesting cocktails, and plenty of nonalcoholic options as well. Kombucha on tap and a nonalcoholic beer are nice options to have.

Great little vegan bar. Dark great music, excellent bartender. we had the Cuban sandwich special. Partner ordered flower traveler would not recommend. It was not good. Sugar skull x2, very delicious, then we Han pain killer which was our favorite. The sandwiches were delicious and would 100% recommend.

Ohhhhh man. Vegan bar food at its finest!! We got the pulled bbq sandwich and the French dip, with the potato salad. It all was so good but I loved the bbq sandwich! I know if I brought all my friends who are not vegan, they'd love the food! Very well done and service was quick (we went around noon when they first opened) and service was friendly! Can't wait to come back! :)

Go here for the potato salad alone! Tasty vegan potato salad is a rarity in my experience, but this place does it right. Better than non-vegan potato salad! The nachos were also great and a very filling portion. Cool tunes and drinks as well. Great place to stop on your way into Seattle from the airport...or anytime!

Georgetown has a punk vibe. Its located away from the downtown area so there's no crazy traffic to deal with, a true local joint. The food is delicious! I'm not vegan and I didn't feel deprived. My friend who is vegan absolutely loved this place! The cocktails are good also and the prices are reasonable.

Found GLC by accident, best stumble of my vegan life!
I ordered three different togo sandwiches the first time I came in to share with my wife when getting home,
Mistake, each sandwich is filled and delicious.
Just had today's special, Ham and Swiss with a cup of split pea and ham.
Sitting here enjoying lunch, I was struck with the best feeling of being in a place that treats me like all the carnivores, big sandwich.
Once I thought to take a pic this is all that was left...

Really really delicious vegan food. Definitely in my 10 top best things I've ever eaten. The pulled pork sandwich is to die for and I got the blue cheese burger last time and it was soooo good. I'm sad the old Georgetown Liquor Company is gone but glad to see it's been taken over by another great vegan restaurant (Highline). The only thing I would say is my burger was slightly too salty and I hope they can move beyond just sandwiches with more of a diverse menu eventually, like maybe breakfast foods, like the old GLC had. This place is awesome! Vegans and non vegans will love their sandwich/burger options and lots of beers on tap! Friendly service, socially distanced dining and awesome cocktail options! Definitely a hidden gem in Georgetown. Should be fun post covid, as they have a small concert stage as well. Congrats to the new ownership for creating an awesome space!

GLC is back under new management. Fans of the previous establishment will note that the menu is all vegan now, and the flavors have definitely been upgraded. GLC had been known for their vegan French dip, and the newest iteration is definitely improved. You still can't have a sit down experience indoors here because savages live in science denial, but eventually this will be back to a great place to share food with friends and more. They expect to have small shows here, but that will definitely not be plague friendly given the small size. It is a shame they don't get more room, but it

GLC is back, and it's the best case scenario I never would've thought possible! I was crushed when I heard GLC was closing in September. But, now to find out that two of my favorite places have basically come together and made a baby...well I just can't imagine anything better. GLC and Highline have been my two favorite vegan restaurants/ bars for as long as we've been living here (over 10 years). GLC has always been a more convenient location for us since we live in Renton, so the fact that the Highline peeps have now taken over GLC is just unbelievably awesome! The infused
