Very happy to have found Action Auto! We moved to Ramona fairly recently, and when our car had some problems I didn't know where to go. I checked out Yelp and Action Auto had some very good reviews, so I decided to give them a try. I called them up just to make sure they were able to take my car and get an idea of pricing, friendly over the phone and answered all my questions, price seemed very reasonable.

Dave is upfront throughout the service which includes pre-notification if there is any deviation outside the work order so you can determine the cost benefit. Parts and labor are fair. Our experience with Dave and his shop shows his integrity with excellent workmanship. We brought in our daughter's 2000 Toyota RAV4 which had a broken alternator support bolt in the engine block among other high mileage repair needs. Dave gave the old car a new life! These guys are amazing! There customer service is wonderful.. so thankful there apart of our small town. I finally at the age 38 ran out of gas. I called to borrow a gas can & not only did they loan me one. They helped fill it w: gas. The lady I had pick it up was so greatful she didn't have to do it on her own..
And today my engine light came on. Apparently it was way low on oil. I called and Dave said come in! We needed to be in Escondido by 9, he added oil for me free of charge and had me come back for the oil change later. He helped us get back on the road w: out worry!

I HIGHLY recommend Dave at Action Auto. They brought back my confidence in mechanics. I brought my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee in to find out why the number 6 cylinder kept missing. After all the tests he done he called me and said it was a head gasket and possibly the valves but he couldn't tell me for sure until he brought the heads to machine shop. Once he found out that the valves did need to be done he gave me a call and let me know I told him to proceed. The job was done efficiently on time and a bit under what he quoted and done correctly. He has a great team there and a great lead mechanic

I love going to action auto.
I aam a 28 year old girl and I drive a lot, I live in san marcos and work in ramona 5 times week. They understand how important my car being safe is. Any time I hear a weird sound in my car they listen to me and always help me fix it. They are really great people and I recommend them to anyone.

Took my Toyota Highlander in because the car wasn't holding the power steering fluid more than a couple days...took it here originally because they replaced the power steering pump a few months ago..."no charge" to look at it....but it was fine. Knowing my luck, there was a bad hose...not the cheap, easy to get to hose....but the expensive, not easy to get to one!

Professional and honest. We had a transmission problem but decided to tow it to a transmission shop in our neighborhood. They did not charge us for the inspection/diagnosis nor for the two days the vehicle sat on their service lift while I researched my options. They referred me to a tow when I opted for my neighborhood shop. Thanks for your integrity and assistance.
