Mr. Muffler was established in 2017 by Jose Flores. As our family grew, our shops have grown as well. In 2019, Jose & his wife, Liz, opened their second shop, MGR Mufflers & Auto Repair. In addition, they also have a Motorcycle Shop, Pro J's Cycles, in the Bay Area.

Services
All of our catalytic converters are California Compliant with the Automotive Emission Regulations and Smog Requirements. We keep a diverse selection of OEM-equivalent and performance catalytic converters in stock, primarily from our preferred brands: Magnaflow, Catco, Car Sound, Walker, and more. We also have accounts set up with major dealerships: Lexus, Nissan, Toyota, Ford, Chevy and more.
Exhaust system problems are often caused by road damage, collision, or driving over a rock, pipe or engine vibration issues, or normal wear and tear. If your check engine light is on or if you've noticed strange noises, smoke, or strong fumes coming from your exhaust system, you may need to have your exhaust system inspected.
At Mr. Muffler & MGR Mufflers, we have specialized staff in installing Catalytic CCM Plates and Custom Catalytic Cages. We don't only focus on Toyota Prius Plates, we also build custom made catalytic converter cages that provide security, quality, fitment, to all type of vehicles. CCM Plates - There are several shield in the market.
At MGR Mufflers, our heavy-duty truck lift is ideal for servicing fleets that are larger than normal. When we're raising several tons into the air, we want to make sure everything goes as planned. Our technicians can service cars, vans, trucks - even many medium and heavy duty commercial vehicles with ease.

I went today to see if I could have a muffler delete and a straight pipe/ exhaust tip installed on my sons 2007 ford focus. When I arrived late in the day (4;30 pm) I noticed a similar car on the rack that was undergoing a similar installation. They kindly started the engine and let me hear the new sound post muffler removal. It was perfect! .......The next thing I know, I'm headed off to their other shop (nearby) for exactly the same solution with a exhaust tip in hand. To my amazement the whole installation was less than 30 minutes.

What a lifesaver! Extremely helpful, professional and great customer service! Someone tried to steal the catalytic converter off my SUV. They used a saw and were unsuccessful but did a lot of damage. MGR was nice enough to fit me into their schedule. They welded the pipe and got me back on the road right away. Thank you MGR! 5 stars ***** !

Took my a6 in there today and was pleasantly surprised with how friendly and professionally i was treated when asking for a custom exhaust. They brought my car on the lift and we went over options and pricing. I ended up replacing my mufflers with straight pipes and had them create and X-Pipe to replace my center resonator. 3 hours later my car is a whole different beast then before. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Will be bringing all my cars here from now on.

This company came out to be an amazing experience i bought a pick up lifted 4x4 already was invested in money and didn't have an idea of what shop to end up in but I wouldn't trade it for the world these people treated me like family I hope people have the same experience like I did thanks stuffs members
