Linda Bainter is the owner and photographer at Lovin' the Light and has specialized in documenting your joy before and after the birth of your baby. Capturing children and families up to the first year.
The physically changes of this moment are small, compared to your growth of heart for someone you have yet to meet! The love and joy you feel for your unborn child and your partner are so strong when expecting, that it is often referred to as a glow. I remember the excitement of waiting on new life and the changes it inspired.
Capturing the beauty of your newborn baby, the way you remember them on delivery day, fresh, womblike and peacefully sleeping. Creating images that focus on your babies face and all the details you hope to never forget, like their silky fine hair and pouty lips. Knowing how quickly the newborn stage passes, I want to document this moment, when your baby fits comfortably in your arms.

The images I capture at the hospital in the first few days of your babies life are known as fresh 48 photography.
Lovin' the Light Photography specializes in the first year of your babies life. We call these sessions children milestone photography. Your newborn baby arrives sleepy and curled, then move so quickly to a crawler that gurgles and coos, and just that fast, they begin to pull up and take their first steps.

Linda is very kind and professional. Her studio is gorgeous and inviting. She welcomed my mom and sister to observe during the newborn sessions. She provided water and snacks during the sessions as well. We did our first session with just my newborn son. Then at a later convenient day, my husband and 2 older daughters joined for family photos.
We chose the package with 30 digital prints and 15 matted 8x10s because I loved all of the images! I gave a few of the matted pictures to my family as gifts. Our canvas turned out beautiful and is hanging in the center of our living room above our TV. These

Linda is absolutely amazing. My husband and I had pictures captured of our newborn daughter and were blown away. We heard about Linda through many friends who also had their pictures taken with her. Linda is a true artist and takes her time to craft the most adorable poses. She is kind, patient, professional and creative. In addition to the final digital images, we also purchased the album and three matted pictures. I highly recommend this package. We will cherish these photos forever! We are so happy with our newborn photos from Lovin' the Light! Linda was extremely professional and went above and beyond to make the entire experience top notch. I was a little stressed wondering how the baby would do the day of pictures, but as soon as we stepped into the studio Linda made sure everything ran smoothly. The only hard part was trying to decide which pictures we wanted for our package because they were all phenomenal.

After seeing examples Linda's newborn photography, I knew I wanted her to photograph my son when he was born. We also used Linda for our maternity session. Wow! She captured such amazingly beautiful images! She provided the most gorgeous dresses to choose from for our maternity session, reducing the stress of finding and purchasing one myself. I am not a natural at posing by any means, and she guided me and made me look beautiful, despite being very swollen and miserably pregnant! For the newborn session, she walked us through preparing our son so he was nice and sleepy. Somehow, she kept him asleep

Working with Linda is worth the investment! For maternity, she has a closet full of gowns in sizes for all so you don’t have to spend extra money on buying your own (that you’d most likely only wear once!) and you look beautiful. She allowed me to come over prior to try on different gowns so I could pick the right ones for me. For newborn photos, she gave a nice run down prior to my session of what I could do to make sure my baby was sleepy and ready for the perfect newborn photos. I followed what she said and my baby lasted 3 hours....now I can’t wait to set my eyes on all of the adorable

We had the best experience having Linda capture our family and our 10 day old baby boy. Linda and her assistant are baby whisperers! They were so patient and delicate in handling our precious boy and made us feel so comfortable that I actually took a nap on their couch in the middle of the baby’s photo shoot 😂. Not only did the pictures turn out great, the experience taught me so much about how to handle and soothe our baby boy. I can truly say watching Linda handle our baby has made me a more patient mother. I would definitely recommend her services for moms who want to capture these special

The care and attention to detail were incredible. This is our first child, and we had no idea what to expect going into this experience. Linda put us at ease, and we had a wonderful time watching our baby with different outfits and props. The session ended up lasting over two hours, and Linda was able to transition our baby to different outfits masterfully with minimal to no fuss. The studio is kept warm to keep the baby comfortable, but we honestly felt perfectly comfortable ourselves. Linda sends suggestions for things to do before arriving at the session. DO THOSE THINGS. I am so impressed with Linda's skills as a photographer and as a baby handler! Posing newborns, whose moods (and bodily fluids) are totally unpredictable, requires some serious patience and magic; the images Linda was able to capture of our daughter are remarkably beautiful. She was a dream to work with. I can't wait to take our girl back for future sessions to capture her as she grows. As someone who is never sure whether professional photography is worth the money and time, I would wholeheartedly recommend Loving the Light to anyone looking for quality memories.
