I had an appointment on Dec 6 @ 3:30pm to have our puppy checked. I couldn’t drive because of neck and shoulder injury so I had to ask my husband to leave work earlier to drive us there.
When we arrived, we were told they couldn’t find our appointment and they won’t be able to see us.
The front desk needs to pay more attention when they make appointments for their clients. The wrong info could waste clients a lot of efforts and time.

We love this clinic, and Dr. Suter in particular. She is so knowledgeable, and so engaged in the care of her patients. They're not the cheapest clinic around but the quality of care is really high!

I brought my six year old shoe schnoodle in because he wasn’t feeling well. It was my first visit there. They were great, and it’s a great location and a really nice space.

Best vet I’ve ever been to!! When I got there they took me right in and I was barely waiting longer than 2-3 minutes any time they went in and out. And the best part is that the price was SO reasonable. Any time I go to a vet it’s always a $300 minimum for the visit and sometimes it deters me from taking them if I can’t afford that at the moment. It will bring great peace of mind that I can take my cats when they need to go and it won’t leave me strapped.

My sweet disaster, Pascal(see picture), is my baby. He has quite a few medical issues. We just moved to the area and I was worried about finding the right vet. I feel so good about our choice in Dr Fried, her assistant, Lorna and the rest of the staff at Preston Animal Hospital. They were so attentive and kind and have followed through with prescription, diet concerns etc. They have even been respectful and helpful regarding finding the best price for his prescriptions.

The front desk staff and the doctor were amazing. The assistants were very hands on and patient with our anxious Oreo 😊. Thank you for a calming experience and for checking in multiple times after his appointment. We also appreciate you all letting us come back to demonstrate how to give him his medicine again. Our boy is getting better each day!

I have been taking my pets to Preston Animal Hospital for approximately 13 years and I have never had a bad experience! I love everyone there. When it is time for a visit, the staff seem happy to see my fur baby. They appear to love him as much as I do. I couldn't ask for anything more!

3 stars because everyone there was kind, and I feel like they did take good care of my cat. However, I was given a quote for a procedure for my cat that seemed excessively high, so I got a second opinion from another vet in the area who was recommended by a friend. She told me that my cat is not even in need of that same procedure, and if he does need it at some point in the future, it will be significantly less expensive than Preston would have charged. Of course I would not hesitate to pay if I genuinely felt that the quality of care was better here, but there are definitely places in the area

I've been taking my 3.5 year old pug, Milo, here for about a year now and have always been seen by Dr. Harper. This hospital is close to our apartment, but we've also loved the service. You definitely get what you pay for. Last year, after a vaccine he got, Milo had a very delayed allergic reaction that put us at the after hours ER vet (Quartet). A year later, and they already had a note in his file to give him a premedication before the vaccine, so as to avoid the reaction. They're on top of their stuff here, always in good communication, and everyone is so friendly and good with

I have been taking my cat here for 3 years & i've always been impressed with each visit. Their facility is very nice & the staff are all very friendly.

My cat has been hospitalized twice there & the doctors do a great job keeping you updated. They allow you to visit whenever you'd like & bring in food, etc.

Dr. Shelton is the best. She is so sweet & you can tell she genuinely cares about her patients.

**Update 1/26/19

Wanted to give Preston another shout out. We have been seeing Dr. Suter lately & she is also wonderful!! She always remembers what we talk

I've been taking my 16 year old here for a few months now. I find the techs and vets to be competent enough but I also think the prices are high. My experience is that there is a charge for every single item even if it's something that takes a minute. My impression is that this is very much a medical "business".

Having moved from Boston recently we needed to find a vet for our 16.5 year old Bichon. We are very fortunate to have found Preston Animal Hospital. Recently our dog had a major issue and I can state that Dr. Shelton saved our dog's life. Within days of the surgery he was running around and being himself. The entire experience was professional as the entire staff is wonderful. Also this is the best place for grooming...

We've been going to see Doctor Suter for ten years now. She has been there through some very challenging times with our pets and even came 30 minutes to our home when it was time to say goodbye to our senior dog with mobility issues. She is incredibly empathetic, always responsive, and an excellent medical professional. As long as Doctor Suter is at Preston, we will continue to make the long drive to see her there.

UPDATED REVIEW: Oct 2016 --- Dr Goodwin is at Park Veterinary Hospital off Hwy 54 in Durham. A little further drive than this location but for a well-respected veterinarian it is well worth the drive and the prices at Park Vet Hospital seem to be cheaper! We go where Dr Goodwin goes. Also, when a client asks where Dr Goodwin is or went --- you should let them know as proper courtesy and not tell me "SHE IS NO LONGER PRACTICING"!!!! Thank goodness for LinkedIn as I was able to find her and quickly get our pet's records transferred to Dr Goodwin. Sorry, but I cannot recommend

I love Preston Animal Hospital! I just moved to the Raleigh area about a year ago, and wasn't sure who the best vet would be for my yorkie, Penny. My fiance's co-worker referred him to Dr. Suter at Preston, and I'm so glad we decided to take up his recommendation. First of all, the prices are pretty reasonable. I had been taking my dog to another vet in the area, and was being charged an arm and a leg for simple vet visits. Preston Animal Hospital prices are a bargain compared to what I was paying. Second, my yorkie needed knee surgery on her luxating patellas and Preston Animal

I had been using another veterinarian center since my Rudy was a pup and when an emergency came up Preston was the closest option. They took wonderful care of him prior to and after surgery. The Dr took the time to explain treatment options and when it came time to decide on surgery we were very comfortable that we were making the right decision for our boy. I know that his health and wellbeing are in good hands at Preston. We will be staying with Preston Animal Hospital for his routine health visits. Excellent Drs and Staff.

Absolutely love the staff at Preston! Dr. Richardson is amazing and his love and concern for his patients is astounding. Grooming (Cindy) is amazing and the nursing staff (Heather) rock! I've never had a bad experience or phone call with anyone, but wanted to call out those amazing individuals in particular. I will take every pet I have her and recommend that others in the area do the same.

Preston Animal Hospital is a fantastic veterinary practice. I especially have to give kudos to Dr. Goodwin. I followed her from her old office and would drive to Florida if I had to so my dogs could see her. She has treated all four of my golden retrievers. Dr. Goodwin has always been straightforward, honest, and caring with me about each one of them and even accompanied me to our last dog's oncology appointments. When it was time to let her go, she made a special trip into the office so she could be there with us. She is an exemplary vet, and I recommend her to anyone and EVERYONE.

Preston Animal Hospital was highly recommended by a dog trainer I met at the dog park for their veterinary care, day care, and grooming. I took my mini-schnauzer today for his first grooming. Cindy the groomer followed the instructions I gave her and he seemed happy and looked great when I picked him up. She removed matts from the bottom of his front pads that not every groomer would have found or bothered with, and I know he must feel better. He weighs almost 29 lb. and I was charged $45 for his grooming and bath. We have just moved here from California, and a master schnauzer groomer there charged

We love Dr. Suter. We followed her from another animal hospital several years ago. She's very knowledgeable, takes time to explain any questions we have and is just a great vet. We have also used their boarding services for our cat as he is elderly and can't just be left at home anymore. Great services there as well. Would absolutely recommend them to any pet owner!

As a newer resident to Morrisville I decided to find a new vet for my two black labs when my female dog got a bit under the weather. Unfortunately I ended up having to put her down very quickly after my first visit to Preston but I will say the following. Although this was a heart breaking experience, the staff at Preston was caring and great even though I hated this experience. Dr Suter and her staff were truly the best I could have hoped for in the three or so visits I went to see them. They made myself and my 13 year old lab feel welcomed and made this process as smooth and unpleasant as they

I used to live in the apartment complex behind PAH, so when I got my first dog it was the closest vet to me. While I moved from there 4 years ago, I still make the 20 min drive to take my dogs over to Preston since they treat me and my pups so well.

The building is always clean and they always have you in a room within moments of your appointment time. They are good about last minute appointments if your dogs got themselves into a bit of trouble, too.

My dogs primary vet is Dr. Bauer, but Dr. Suter has seen them as well. They're both knowledgable and truly enjoy seeing your pet.

The doctors seem very knowledgable. I have 4 dogs, but the cost were much greater than area vets. $57+ per dr. visit. When we rescued the last two, the extra costs wasn't reasonable any longer.

I recommend them if there is something acutely wrong with your pet. However, the routine fees can be almost triple (such as spay/neuter services. And although I have spent hundreds there over the years we left shortly after a bad boarding experience.

The staff mixed up our check in days; our flight plans were affected. They seemed to have little apology or ownership for their mistake. And when we
