Big Tree Fitness is Akron, Ohio's premier small class and personal training gym. Members work toward goals of personal strength, increased speed, increased stamina, and improving overall health and wellbeing. Gym owner, Michael, had a dream to bring affordable personal training to the citizens of Greater Akron, and with Big Tree Fitness, this dream has been realized.

Michael has helped countless Akronites achieve their personal fitness goals with his customized training plans tailored to each of his members' individual fitness needs and capabilities. 2 DEDICATION & COMMITMENT - We keep each other accountable to stay dedicated to the work we put in. Services
My love of outdoor adventure and sports pushed me to experience both at a higher physical level. To achieve this, I learned new ways to increase my own strength and conditioning. I created Big Tree Fitness to teach these techniques to you. My training sessions are based on a simple idea: create greater strength, muscle endurance and stamina.
The Back Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift are the three main lifts that we teach and coach here at Big Tree Fitness. We start this process by teaching proper form, technique and body position through body weight only foundation programing and training before graduating up to the next level. A proper foundation of strength helps prevent injury as well as promoting mental confidence for increased weight.
At Big Tree Fitness, our workouts are designed to meet you where you are on your fitness and wellness journey. Want to lift heavy weights? We can do that. Maybe you need some accessory work? We have that covered, too. Or perhaps you are recovering from an injury or need to pay attention to a specific part of your body.
Big Tree offers a free one-week trial membership to all prospective strength and conditioning gym members. Simply contact us to set up your trial. Pick any 5 classes per week, change your days to adjust to your schedule as needed. Schedule 1 day a month with Well Being Massage Studio & Health Store right next door for a 1 hour massage once a month.

I spent years trying to find a workout regimen I could commit to, and I'm happy to say my search ended with Big Tree Fitness.

It's run by Michael, who has mastered the art of motivating without sounding like a drill sergeant. He genuinely wants to see his clients succeed, so whatever your goals are -- strength training, conditioning, Spartan runs, marathons -- he can tailor workout routines that will help you achieve them. As you can see from my reviews I'm far better at drinking beer and rating breweries than I am working out, that said this is the first gym I've went to where I feel the work out is tailored to my abilities or non abilities.

The owner is very kind, well versed in his field, very knowledgeable, & has a very comfortable welcoming environment to work out in. This is one of the best workouts I've ever done, & it's VERY affordable. In addition, he offered great healthy tips during the workout session. I'm very sore today, & I can't wait to go back for another workout. Thanks Big Tree Fitness!
