My father is currently at this facility and I live in Florida. There has been an issue with their phone system (which they are diligently working on). I was very frustrated that I was unable to reach him. The Administrator, Andy Miles went above and beyond to help me. He gave me his personal cell phone number, he spoke with me after hours and he even had staff go to my father’s room with their own phone and FaceTimed for me and my father. It was so great to see him. Their Social Worker, Cosette Ortiz is amazing, kind, compassionate and professional. It was easy to loose my frustration because

My adopted sister is in this facility and it is one of the worst facilities I have ever seen. Besides patients given greasy food that is uneatable and health risk most of the staff in the nurses and CNAs are lazy insensitive and abusive verbally, emotionally, psychologically, and physically. Don't let your family members ever be put in this facility. It needs to be shut down and the patients moved to a better facility. Also they have a major issues with bugs of all kinds.

I have worked at Reo for 14 years. I have been part of management team since Reo Vista inception in 2007. I have worked in other facilities as well and I can say that I have remained at Reo the length of time I have because I work with people who care. We have never claimed to be perfect but we continually work to improve our care standards and always try to do so with the care and attention we would want for ourselves and our loved ones. There is a ton of stigma behind long term Care that always casts a long dark shadow. But Reo Vista and their staff have always remained committed to providing

My grandmother has been to several skilled nursing facilities, but none can compare to Reo Vista. The level of care they provided was amazing. I was immediately welcomed with a warm sincere hello and how can I help you? The interaction between the staff was genuine and professional. Good job everyone.

Cosette Munoz really saved the day for Sally and myself (daughter). We left the house in an emergency and forgot to bring Mom's vaccination card for her second shot later in the day.
Hours later and miles from home when we arrived at the vaccination center, we did not have our card and the center closed in 15 minutes. Mom had her first shot at Reo Vista when she was in rehab after she fell and broke her hip. Cosette told me that she would find a copy of the vaccination card (they would not give Mom her second shot without it) and e-mail it to me. Within ten minutes, Cosette called me and told

Reo Vista is a great place. The facility is always clean, the staff is extremely helpful and nice, and I love how the staff treats the residents like their family. I toured many facilities in San Diego, but this was the only one with a homely feel.
With the current pandemic, it has been hard not being able to go and visit. However, the facility has done a great job at offering visits through video chat. I was hesitant about leaving my uncle there, because of the rise of COVID positive patients within the facility and the constant stories about it on the news; however, it is apparent that the staff

Do not take your family members to this place PLEASE! I am a CNA and when I would go visit my grandma I would see the negligence of the staff. My grandma was always very thirsty and never had anything to drink by her bed. They would hardly get her up from bed. Unfortunately my grandma passed away of COVID while in their care. She was asymptomatic and when I would facetime her she looked fine except she would complain of not having anything to drink or eat. If I would of been her POA I would have definitely taken her elsewhere. Please be very selective on where to take your loved ones. My grandma

Below standard living conditions. Better be able to take care of yourself if you stay here....to many patients to staff. Old not clean. My husband went there after hospitalization. The next day i arrived and discharged him. I could not feel good about leaving him there ever. I would not want someone to make me stay there.
The staff was very pleasant, just not enough of them. place is noisy. They are so worried bout doing their own procedures that they don't think about the patient comfort. 2 cna's were in the restroom while my husband was trying to take a dump. They could have waited and gave
