Dr. Brian Hastings is a lifelong resident of Mattoon and graduated Mattoon High School in 1976. After graduating from Lake Land College, he completed his undergraduate education and received a teaching degree from Eastern Illinois University. In 1992 he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee and joined his father, Dr. Jerry Hastings in practice.

Absolutely love this place! We see Myles and he is amazing! So great with my kids and us adults! They have great staff and they make sure to explain things, answer questions thoroughly, and make everything as comfortable as they can.

Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts.

Bonnie did an amazing job! My teeth felt so clean after my visit. She really took time and precision during my visit. Dr. Myles Hastings also was so friendly, as always. He really went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable! Great job. I’ve been going to Hastings and Havlik since I was a very little girl and I’ve never been let down. Keep up the great work!

I was not a patient of the practice before but I will be now! I was an emergency patient and was in the chair in less than an hour from when I called. Dr Chris explained what was going on and got me referred to an oral surgeon immediately! Everyone was very nice and friendly. They made a bad day better!

I usually don't like going to the Dentist, I got to admit they made me feel comfortable.dr. Myles Hastings was the gentleman that took care of me and I'm pretty happy with way things have turned out I'm wanting to get the rest of my teeth fixed so I think he's going to be my permanent dentist.. I would say if you're going to look for a dentist these are the people you should try to contact they know what they're doing they got state-of-the-art equipment and I'd sincerely care about your well-being thanks Brad Beasley

Always an amazing experience. I've been going since I was a child and now my child is a patient here and he loves it! He didn't want to get out of bed until I told him we had to go see Dr Hastings and he flew out of bed. Such a great family dentist and very talented. For 40-plus years, my Family has been going to Hastings and Havlik Dentistry. Traveling from Effingham, they are the BEST for miles around. Their office is truly like a Family; everyone is so friendly. The Doctors Hastings are thorough, GENTLE, and, have made our smiles healthy and beautiful!! I highly recommend them.
