He attended Windsor Park Elementary, Baker Middle School, and graduated from Marry Carroll High School in 2003.
From there he attended Texas A&M in College Station, TX, where he met his beautiful wife, Katherine, while studying for his bachelor's degree in Biology. Dr. D is a 2011 graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. While in dental school, Dr. D was named to the Baylor College of Dentistry Dean's Honor List and was involved with numerous organizations and served in several officer positions.

Services
Dashia has worked with Dr. Chang since 2011. She is our team's financial and treatment coordinator and works very hard to make sure patients benefits are maximized and are accommodated. She spends her free time with her two children, a dog, and a cat. She enjoys trips to the beach to relax. Elizabeth has been a dental hygienist since 2009 and joined Dr. Chang's practice in 2014.

A bright smile always looks healthy and attractive. This can be accomplished with teeth whitening, a practical and convenient way to noticeably improve the appearance of you smile. Some patients still prefer the control of take-home whitening systems and GLO has that option as well. When properly supervised by your dentist, take-home whitening is a safe and effective way whiten your teeth.

If I could give 20 stars to Dr Chang and his staff, I would! They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable! I'm an anxious patient but they are so wonderfully sweet and patient that I was much more calm in a matter of minutes!! I will always recommend this awesome doctor and his equally awesome staff to anyone needing dental care!

I was blessed to have my tooth repaired by dr Chang my son assured me He was the best and took good care of him before and he assured me He was the best! . He was right he’s most kind professional best dentist I ever saw or went to and I’m 73 just sayin I also was impressed with the entire staff very sweet Christian group I feel blessed to have dr Chang as my dentist I also here he’s an Aggie 🎶👌just sayin my neighbors Amy snd Todd told me thay see him to and we’re actually close friends , it’s a small world isn’t it sometimes. Amy agreed He’s the BEST ! Courpus Christi is blessed

Dr. Chang, his dental hygienists, and office staff are all WONDERFUL. I was able to schedule a (very) last minute appointment due to a cancellation, and was unable to find childcare for my toddler on such late notice. They reassured me it would be fine for me to bring her and they’d help out! They were all so wonderful and the front office stepped in to help when me daughter got upset while they took my xrays. They did a wonderful, thorough job cleaning my teeth and I can’t wait to take my daughter back there for her first dental appointment one day soon! I would recommend this dental practice

Dr. Derek Chang’s office and practice is the absolute best!!! His Reception area has the best Customer service!! His assistants are also great! Dr. Chang has the best bedside manner, professionalism, knowledge and passion for his work. I send my family there and I will go there again and again!!!
