As a lifelong resident of Michigan, I'm proud to protect our community. I graduated from Northwood University in 2007 with a B.A. degree in Marketing/Management. After graduating, I started my career with State Farm Insurance in 2009. I knew I wanted to own my own business while remaining in the industry and in 2014, I opened the doors to my own State Farm Agency here in Grand Rapids!
I enjoy being involved in the community and assisting with our area's growth by supporting other local small business owners. I'm a member of the Walker Chamber of Commerce and I've been a NAIFA member since 2007. I am also a proud volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. In my free time, you can catch me hanging out with my family and exploring everything that Grand Rapids has to offer.

Coty, Nathan and the whole team are excellent to work with. Very responsive and extremely thorough when explaining anything. Coty helped me save money on all three of my vehicles as well as my home insurance. It’s nice to have an agent to talk to directly and not have to wait on hold with an 800 number. I highly recommend this whole team.

Here's the deal. When your looking for someone to help you manage risk and exposure, there is no one. better in Grand Rapids than Nathan Smith and his State Farm team. Nathan and his team are so incredibly helpful and timely! In the midst of Covid when getting an appointment at the Secretary of State is extraordinarily challenging they were able to provide us with the documentation needed to finalize our paperwork on the spot! Love these guys if you need any kind of insurance you have to reach out to my buddy Nate at State Farm :-)
