Kannapolis Engine Service was founded by my Grandpa Clyde L Poteat in 1970 in Kannapolis North Carolina, after retiring from the United States Navy for service as a Sea Bee. Paul Poteat (My Dad), Clyde's son took control of the business in the late 1980's and has helped the business grow ever since
