Garden & Associates, LTD. was founded by Merrill Garden in 1947. Merrill graduated from Iowa State College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts with a degree in Agricultural Engineering. He started Garden Construction as a design-builder of Quonset buildings. In 1948, Garden Engineering Service Inc. was formed to also serve the engineering and land surveying
