Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home is one of the oldest family-owned businesses in the LC valley. The building, which is more than 100 years old in 1972, was cut in half, moved and reassembled. The establishment was first located at a site that was later occupied by the Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA).
It then moved into the home of Grostein family

Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home was established in Lewiston, Idaho in 1924 by Loren B. Wann and Eugene Brower in a Victorian mansion on Main Street. Mr. Wann purchased Mr. Brower's interest in the 1930's. During WWII, Mr. Wann became ill and died, and the business was assumed by Betty until Kermit could return from the military.
