Awning Doctors was established in 1985 by Dave Lurtsema. He still owns and operates the business today, along with his son, Derek Lurtsema. Awning Doctors was first launched as a cleaning service. The needs and demands of the field led to new awning installations, including recovering existing awnings, and awning repairs.
