From a distance it might look straight, but when you get close up, you can always see the line waver. And I think that's where the beauty is. Thanks to my grandparents, I grew up in front of the camera and understood the sentimental value of capturing life in the moment at a young age. I loved thumbing through photo albums and seeing the personalities of family members who passed shine through their pictures.
So I guess it's really no surprise that I grew up to be a documentary, lifestyle photographer! After I purchased my first DSLR in 2014 I started photographing small weddings for family and friends, slowly started branching out to portraits two years later, then in 2018 I left my job to pursue my dreams as a full-time photographer.

Chelsea is amazing!! I knew I loved her from the get-go when she set up a call to go through the details of the day and led a super helpful review of what images we wanted - she clearly cared as much as I did what we wanted captured. Then, day of she was fabulous at directing poses and helping follow schedule, she led the charge smoothly and in a fun way, plus she was just a lovely presence to have around and hang out with....THEN the photos! Guys...the photos.

My husband and I just got our wedding photos and we kept saying again and again how happy we were that we chose Chelsea to be our photographer. As a photographer, I'm rather specific with my photography needs. Chelsea exceeded those expectations and I'm so grateful. Not only did she photograph my family so I could have images for holiday cards, she also captured the personality and energy my family emulates. From dance parties, to pouting, to wrestling in the front yard, I was impressed how she made all events so flattering.

Choosing Chelsea Hall photography for our wedding was the best decision we could have made.
