Carly Short Photography

Carly is simply amazing!! She is SO easy to work with, and it's clear that she knows what she's doing. We used her and her team for both our engagement and wedding photos, and they were all absolutely stunning. Would 100% recommend!

Carly did a shoot at our home of our family. She had the patience to work with 9 of us on the shoot, plus our animals! We have beautiful family pictures and different groupings (the boys, the girls, couples). We had so much fun setting up the different shots. I cannot recommend her enough!

Carly was phenomenal for doing my wedding and honeymoon pictures! We took her to Iceland with us to do some post wedding pictures across the country. She was so amazing to work with and her images speak for themselves! We were relaxed and comfortable around her. Nothing was too posed. She has a nice artistic eye. I would hire her in a heartbeat for future photography!

Carly Short is an excellent woman and photographer. She has a unique style that I love. She was always so sweet, and so kind and Jake and I ! She felt like one of our friends, and we felt so at ease around her! She does great work, and she gets the work back to you faster then I have ever seen !! We used Carly for our engagement pictures in Feb 2016 and we used her for our wedding pictures Oct 2016! We are very satisfied. I can't say enough good things about Carly. She was extremely helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. Carly is professional, but at the same time makes you feel like you have been friends with her for years. I was worried I would feel uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Carly made sure that we were at ease the entire time. She will go above and beyond to make sure she gets the perfect shot. Other than choosing my groom, choosing Carly was the best decision that I made for my wedding day!

I called Carly when the photographer I had originally hired for my wedding backed out at the last minute. Not only was Carly sympathetic and kind, she was willing to shoot our wedding for a discounted rate to match what we had originally paid to the original photographer. She answered all my calls and emails promptly and professionally and on the day of my wedding she was there and shooting from minute one. She was incredibly sweet and patient and took all of the photos requested by me and husband and then some! She worked to get the finished images to us quickly and they were all incredible!!

Carly and her team at Carly Short Photography did an absolutely incredible job with my recent wedding! After reviewing some of her work, it was clear to me that I needed her to do my wedding. Her unique photojournalistic style seemed to capture something whimsical and romantic that you don't always see from your standard wedding photographer.
When we got our photos back I was blown away! She was somehow able to turn an "under construction" dressing room into a breathtaking studio, a retaining wall into a glamorous photo backdrop, a row of pine trees in to what appears to be a beautiful pine forest

I have been fortunate enough to have Carly Short do my headshots as well as have her take photographs of our listings for our Real Estate company. Not only is she professional, punctual, precise and honest, she has a unique way of making the whole process fun and energetic. Her knowledge of the cameras, lighting and her hidden gems of locations for photographs make her second to none in my book.

Not only is she the best photographer, she is also an artist. Carly see's the things we don't see in ourselves and is able to show us through phenomenal pictures.
